Great hotel. Great stay. Rooms are great and staff is very friendly. Hot water in the hotel can get extremely hot. Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to so many sights and restaurants. Subway is right outside and down the stairs. Only a short distance from the Danube River.

This hotel is located in the heart of the city centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious. The food is excellent.
If you have a moment to pass, ask the desk manager about the history of the hotel.

The antique interior was beautiful and the room condition was clean. Thanks to the friendly handling and consideration of the front staff, I enjoyed the last day in Europe. It was very convenient at the exit of Astoria subway and tram station. I felt sorry that I could only stay one day.

Excellent service, everybody is helpful and smiling. Slept really well on a comfortable bed. Central location, very close to inner city restaurants and museums. Very clean and reasonably quiet for central location. The restaurant deserves a separate filling in in as its brilliant as well, with good portions, absolutely delicious and reasonably priced too.

Wonderful Hotel for an acceptable price. Very good position if you want to discover Budapest, because direct next to the Astoria Station. Nice rooms. Friendly atmosphere. For me it is a 4 Stars hotel for real, thats what I expected. As for me 2 things are not 4 stars niveau: 1. The tv, just 3 stars, too old and to small, but that was ok, I visited Budapest not for wharching tv :). If you consider that tvs are now very cheap, and the hotel is beautiful as if is + get enough money, the tv could be more newer and a little bit bigger. 2. The toilet paper. Just 2 stars. Not enough quality. If you are born in west europe, you usually have a higher quality, even if you are belong to the middle class. I think no guest wrote or told this before, because it is unusual to talk about the quality of toilet paper :D. I will visit Budapest again. Surely this hotel again! Surely than it will have better toilet paper, because the hotel team will read this :)

This place would get five stars if it had a gym or maybe collaborated with the gym across the street to offer discounted rates, the only other downside was that the parking was a bit of an ordeal to get to, but that's unavoidable in many places in Budapest. Other than that, this was a great value for the price. The ornate lobby and restaurant was a nice mood setter for starting day trips around the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and multi-lingual.

The rooms are extremely hot. I went in February and I had the airco on, while it was still to hot. But the rest was excellent

Very good hotel with helpful staff and lavish free breakfast. The underground is right next to it and bus stop is a minute walk away. It's in a safe neighbourhood with excellent restaurants around.
