A hotel in a peaceful location with friendly staff.
Functional rather than luxurious.

Well where can I start on this one. I have never in my life had such a bad experience with hotel and so much so I wanted to come home
For starters staff were really rude and non helpful at all first night there there were constant banging from upstairs down stairs all hours of morning so hardly managed to get any sleep at all so during the day I was in zombie state and did not enjoy doing anything at all.
Room was boiling hot even after turning off the radiator. There was still heat in the room later I figured out mini bar fridge was overheating non stop so it was generating tons of heat because of it.
There was huge hall under the sink size of large fist with wires sticking out and having 3 year old who likes to put his hands everywhere was really dangerous we raised issue with manager who baisicly flogged me off and did not do anything to help.
On top of this bathroom was tiny walls were dirty doors were dirty whole room looked like it's not been decorated for many years. When letting the water out of bath it was coming out of floor drain next to the bath so whole thing was getting flooded. Door to bath room would not close and you had to jam something on bottom in order to brush your teeth or use the toilet which by the way would get you hit by the door every time it decided to open. Bedsheets never got changed while we were there non dud blankets as kids put some food on it while they were eating and 3 year old and 1 year old don't exactly eat with knife and fork and as there was nowhere else for them to eat as room was so tiny they had to eat on the bed.
Breakfast don't even get me started who serves ROAR fish at 7am ? Sausages were half done and looked like it was out of the tin bread was dry and not fresh as it should be so in the end we started to go out and buy btejfast our self as not even my kids wanted to eat anything from the hotels breakfast.
Whole experience was ruined by lack of sleep lack of space and lack of help from any of the staff including the manager every night I would have to go down at least 5 to 6 times to get them to stop people screaming above us and others having party 3 doors down having 2 small kids it was no fun trying to take them to sleep with thus conditions.
I do have 1 positive thing to say location of the hotel is great it's a shame it gets let down by so many things or this hotel could of been really good in Hungary so based on this I only give it

Do NOT go to this hotel!!! Some of the staff are really miserable, hotel tries to look posh but not even close to that, food is terrible and they handling booking REALLY bad!!! They don’t care if you are with toddlers or friends as they put party people next to you and if you try to switch rooms they don’t let you
So if you want a good hotel to ENJOY your holiday, DO NOT choose this one!!!response / report this review -

Room was in two parts, one part was really nice with a nice bed and the other part was dirty and had bugs on the floor and a small couch bed. The lobby and staff were fine, and one part of the room was clean but the other part I would not go back to.

Helpful when checking in however our room was boiling hot with no A/C , no bath plug and very little toiletries , mini bar was empty , the bedding had cigarette burns in it. The first day we left the room we had left our travel money in a zipped suitcase and to our horror we had 110,000 huf (£330) missing after the cleaner had been in.
We notified the manager about this incident however she had little to say and told us it was nothing she could solve. Room very dated and dirty.
Breakfast was good and the location of the hotel is good near a large thermal bath and heroes squareresponse / report this review -

BEWARE! Not all rooms have AC. Staff is RUDE. I was with a group, my daughter's room had no AC and a fridge that was HOT and overheating the room. I had her and her room mate move into my room since the hotel claimed to be booked. We stayed there 4 nights, no other rooms opened up. On our last night we decided to use the other room for the shower and bathroom only to find THEY RENTED IT TO SOMEONE ELSE! I PAID FOR THAT ROOM! Now they are fighting me for a refund, saying my daughter checked out. NO, the room key was stolen from my night tableRUN. If you do decide to stay here after all this, make sure you stay in the NEW part of the hotel. The old part is dirty and gross.

Very bad quality compare with other normal accommodations I have been all over the world. Rooms need deep refurbishment. Breakfast leaves much to be desired. Cleanness level: sufficiently good. Personal not so nice but they do their job properly. I would not book it anymore

Very comfortable hotel, situated in a central location. The rooms are a bit dated, but not much, everything being in order, clean, new furniture and linen, I was very pleased with the service. I recommend it based on the price asked. I'll comeback if I need to be in Budapest.

A nice and cost-efficient Hotel with a perfectly located close to Hero Square. No luxury to be expected for the price but overall a good choice for a longer stay.
