We went to Wahoo for a day trip and loved it! The staff is super friendly and the beach is beautiful although crowded.
We payed the $5 to go snorkeling and it was amazing! Our guide was great, the water was so clear and warm, and the view of the reef and the mountains was incredible. Another great thing about the snorkeling is the opportunity to swim somewhere that isn't crowded, we were the only ones in the water where we went snorkeling. The snorkeling lasted 1 hour and it was the highlight of our time at Wahoo.
The beach was very clean. The vendors were great and priced very reasonably in my opinion. The food was delicious. There was a trampoline in the water that the kids loved.

Totally beautiful resort with excellent service throughout. The beach is pristine with white sand and nice privacy. The ocean is beautiful blue Waters. Lots of water sports available also. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Haiti who seeks a place to unwind and relax.

Nice location, views and customer service. Rooms were modest and clean with AC. Dinner was just average in taste. Breakfast was much better.

This place is amazing! Who would have thought amidst all the poverty in Haiti that such beautiful places existed! If you are in Haiti this is a must go!

It's a beautiful place. The beach and the pool are amazing. The room is pretty comfortable but the Wifi is awfully horrible because I couldn't have it from my room. Otherwise everything is amazing!

I was here this past June (2017) and it's been by far the best beach I've ever been to! Love the waiters coming down to the beach taking your order, the music, the trampoline, the men waiting to take you snorkeling it was just all around amazing! I liked it better than Punta Cana and cancoon!

Nice pool! Cloudy but good for little ones. Beach was nice but I would use large magnet to get the rusty nails that are all over. Defianetly wear flip flops. No reef but lagoon full of beer cans and trash. Nice view from the beach except for the torn down wood stage like structure which has boards with nails sticking out all over. Clean that away and the view will be better. Drink service is very slow with ice half gone by the time it reaches the table. 20 min for a coffee and a soda at 10 AM. Food ordered early arrived cold. poor quality food should be upgraded due to price. $55 for a sandwich, small pizza, and burger. Go with beans and rice or local dish and bring sandwiches for the kids. That place could be awesome but lacks vision. Dont sell old paintaingsoffer paintings while you watch or learn and use the location as a subject. Offer free cayak lessons/short trips. Build a reef and show how it can be populated with life. Put a snorkeling bounty on trash colllected from the bay. The winner who collects the most trash in one hour wins 10 beers to share with friends. Till up the volleyball court and fill with soft sand and have a tournamet sponsored by a local sports shop. Plant Mangrove near the shore and watch fish return for the cover. Offer mats to put on the wood floor of the little cabanas. Fix the tables that are smashed under the trees. Play music by the beach (not crazy loud music). Put shade and seating around the chess area so pleople can gather and watch a match.

Beautiful, safe beach. Don't order the pizza It's like bread and cheese with no sauce. Lol

Relaxed, informal place with AMAZING views. Nice pool (a bit small) and nice beach. Amenities are a bit dated but still very nice and clean. Decent food and fresh seafood.

One of my two favorite beach resorts in Haiti.

Great cuisine, you have to try the followings dishes:
    - Griot
    - Gratinée de Fruit de Mer
    - Steak au Poivre
    - Lambi Créole or Langouste Créole

Make sure you take the cell number of your waiter in order to get that "unofficial concierge service", call him for whatever you need, and don't forget to tip him well (US Standards lol).

The 2 Best waiters to ask for at the bar: Wilson & Laguerre.

Not enough rooms. Rooms are outdated. Everything is on different levels and poorly laid out. Expensive but not the worst beach.

I made the mistake of laying down in the sand. It's infested! Everything was way overpriced, stuff I thought was included wasn't. Just a really frustrating day. The pool was full of frogs Ick. Not for me.

The prices at this place were so outrageous we decided to try another resort we had just passed and I must say I am happy we did. This place looks ok but they are out to squeeze every dime (gourd) they can; I don't know if it's because I'm a foreigner or if that's just the way they are.

Less than stellar experience My complaints started the minute we arrived. First, the rate that was quoted to us earlier was suddenly unavailable. The food and drink prices made me feel sick given that this is Haiti. Pure extortion of the "blan," plain and simple. To top it off the pool was disgusting and the staff was terribly rude.
