My stay at Walls was awesome. It was an amazing relaxing enviorment after hiking thru the mountains and staying in a small village up north. The food was great the staff was awesome and the roof is a great spot to hang out with friends. No complaints from me.

The place is nice by average Haiti standards. Food was good and rooms were clean. Location is in busy part of town, just outside Port au Prince. The Haitian staff were very friendly and willing to help in any way possible. Problem is the owner. She seemed cheerful enough in the beginning, but after a few pleasantries the truth comes out. She seemed to be very anti-christian / gospel. If you are not doing agricultural (which I understand is her interest), your ministry is worthless in Haiti. Very rude, aggressive, closed to spiritual matters and completely lacking in the gift of hospitality. For my next stay in Haiti, I will seek a place where the guest are respected.

Great place to stay in Haiti.
Clean rooms, good food and the pool is great after a hard day of work.
Staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate guests.
And the view from the roof is fantastic.

The Wall's Guest house is the best home away from home that I can imagine. I have stayed there countless times over past years, often for months at a time. The staff is my family, in every sense of the word. They go to great pains to assure every level of comfort possible in a place where providing comfort is not easy. I have never had such great care in any other place in the world I've ever stayed at. Anyone with negative things to say about this place clearly either lacks understanding of where they are going (Haiti still very much in post earthquake reality) lacks understanding of Haitian culture and hospitality, or has an altered agenda. Thumbs way way up to Wall's Guest House and I offer the owner Betsy Wall, and staff permission to have anyone contact me for verification of this testimony.
