I am a high school teacher from Cape Cod Massachusetts who has been coming to Haiti for nearly twenty years, and have stayed with my students in various places around PAP in that time. By far, Eucalyptus is the most convenient, charming and hospitable place for a group such as ours. The food is terrific, the staff is friendly and helpful and the grounds are lovely. It is an oasis in an otherwise busy and bustling city. Ernso and family are articulate, thoughtful and gracious hosts. I highly recommend this guesthouse, especially for groups and gatherings.

At this guest house there is a friendly atmosphere. The most important thing is that the food is fantastic.

This is a gorgeous guest house where the staff treat you like family. The food is great, there is a large pool open at all times, wifi, and a gift shopped filled with both everyday necessities and authentic Haitian art.

A very private secluded guest house in the middle of Port au Prince. It backs up to a natural area, which helps isolate it somewhat. It's got a long dirt road to get to it, probably 1/4 of a milebut it seemed much longer in a tap-tap. Once there it's a lovely, if not slightly dated compound. The service was wonderful and Ernso, the host, does anything to meet your needs. Howeverthe door locks on the rooms weren't secure.our sliding glass door was not lockable. Water in the shower was very slight and not heated, which made for some quick showers. And the A/C in the room was hit or miss. Would have appreciated a few more hours of cool. The pool wasn't filled until our last day because of a pump malfunction. But it was glorious once it was filled and amazingly nice and refreshing.

It's amazing to believe that on the other side of the airport you have such a busy and bustling city! It's a genuinely peaceful and welcoming place. Good Internet, good food, and a big pool; what else do you need?
