Pleasant stay in the centre of Zagreb. Great location, comfortable beds, and fabulous views over Zagreb from the upper floors. There are a few things that are not exactly 5-star standard, like a broken toilet flush and coffee urns being empty an hour before breakfast time finishes, but overall it is a really nice hotel and great for staying a long weekend.

I enter the room I shocked. I’m not a handicap but they offer me a handicap room. But, it’s ok. I live many hotels and it never will be a problem. But, the cover on the toilet is removable and it’s plastic like the old hospital used. The roof is leaking. The water will drop when you’re taking shower. I’m even not sure it’s pee or water fall on my head. If you live this hotel never take room 325. I preferred live in a haunted house than this room.

Beautiful and modern Hotel. Excellent customer service in the breakfast room . Staff attentive to your needs. However I am surprised as an American based hotel they do not offer hot porridge for breakfast.

Very nice and comfortable, professional staff and one feels really good there. Located in the centre of Zagreb, easily reachable with lots of activities nearby. Awesome view from the rooms overlooking the city's old town and the hills of Sljeme mountain.

Great ambience. I had a great view if Zagreb from my hotel room. Staff are friendly and ever so helpful. I had an earlier than expected check in and the reception staff were very supportive in getting me a ready room. Staff are always willing to help and smiling. Breakfast is good and there is variety. The hotel facilities are great! I will come back.again.

From the outside the hotel looks magnificent but the room is dated. Could use some refreshing. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet.

The hotel is a bit dated, some areas have recently been updated but many rooms are still very dated. Also in the fall and spring the rooms are uncomfortably warm. They seem to turn off the AC when they turn the heat on, so those in between days when it's semi warm outside the room heats up a lot and holds it late into the night.

A 5 star hotel in the Marriott hotel group. Very nice and comfortable, professional staff and one feels really good there. Located in the centre of Zagreb, easily reachable with lots of activities nearby. Awesome view from the rooms overlooking the city's old town and the hills of Sljeme mountain. Recommend you see it and stay there.

Nice hotel with fairly good location 20 min walking distance from downtown. Unfortunately, the air conditioning system was turned off since September 23 was considered between 2 seasons. The room was very hot and management decided that it will not turn on the AC despite the heat. They sent us a floor fan. I felt that this was not good enough and let the management know about my displeasure. Will not come back.

Still here booked a triple room told staff before we were husband and wife andd our son they gave us a room with three separate beds so had to wait at midnight to change our room beside this our friends who were with us were given a room which was already occupied by other guests so one can imagine what a hassle. Each evening after returning from a day out had to call reception to either get us towels or body wash or faceclothes apparently all maids who were taking care of the room were not aware that we were 3 in the room. Air-conditioning not working reported each day was never repaired at breakfast time each morning had to ask waiters to get me 1teabag to do a pot of tea - incredible this went on for a whole week

Had a really pleasant stay here. It's just in walking distance to the city center, but still in a quiet and nice area. Good service, rooms are big, and a slight eastern atmosphere.

The Westin Zagreb is in a convenient, relatively quiet location, just outside the main city center. All of the staff members were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to provide a great experience. The hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation of the guest rooms. The renovated rooms are spacious and modern, with beautiful bathrooms and all the conveniences you'd need. Despite the ongoing renovation, I was not disturbed by any loud noises during my stay, I could barely tell they were still hard at work. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the gym was not exactly as advertised. The gym is a separately owned and operated facility within the hotel building, but where most hotels have 24-hour fitness centers, access is limited to the business hours. Opening at 6:30am made it difficult to take advantage of the facilities. Other than the gym, I had a wonderful experience here and I would stay at the Westin Zagreb again.

still today most people here dont know what is "westin". we do know what is the "Intercontinental hotel", or just "Interconty" as we call it. gym (horrible), casino (ok), conference center (good) and rooms (great). stay away from it if some big-name politician is in town, as most of the area around it is closed and this is where they always stay
