I stayed at this hotel and was extorted for $2,000 euros by the management. I took a shower in their poorly constructed shower which flooded. The way the shower was designed, it's impossible to take a shower for more than 2 minutes without flooding the bathroom floor. I immediately called downstairs to get some extra towels to clean up the water and there was no visible damage to the room. Upon checking out, the manager tells my ex gf and I that we damaged the room below from the flood and we had to pay 2,000 euro. I refused and asked to see the room below, but the manager wouldn't let me. Then I asked him to show me his invoice from the repair company for the damage and he refused to show me that as proof. Finally, I told him I'm going to call the police because he was extorting me and he told me to call them because they are all his friends and they will throw me in jail. We did nothing wrong and I just put it on the Amex and reversed the charges when we got home. Do not stay here unless you want to be extorted and lied to

Very unique place at the hearth of Dubrovnik old town. For 5* rooms should be better. Still, personal super pleasent and friendly. Very good kitchen. Recommendation.

Girlfriend and I went to Pucic Pace restaurant for valentines day. Personal was extremely nice. For food I don't have enough good words. We eat fish specials and for desert chocolate souffle.

I didnt stay at the hotel but did try the Razonoda bar. Hands down -- best wine in town! The service is impeccable. They only carry local croatian wine and you can purchase bottles to take away. Great visit! Must try!!

There are three individual places at this location, the hotel, which we didn't visit, as well as the Razonoda wine bar and La Capella rooftop restaurant, both of which we did. At the wine bar, we were greeted by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic host who took us on an exciting tour of croatian wine, and invited us to sample a brand new addition to the card, a truly excellent sparkling rosé. The evening segued into dinner, as the host sold us on his favorite wine, the 2013 Kairos Crljenak (Zinfandel) which we took upstairs to accompany what was easily the best meal we've had in three nights in Dobrovnik, and three nights in Split before that. The rooftop location is a beautiful, calm oasis, although not offering any particular views (that's not how rooftops in Dubrovnik work). The food struck a perfect balance between making great use of the inimitable local produce (as do frankly all restaurants in these parts), but leveling up the preparation and presentation to something very much in the fine dining category, all while charging oh so very reasonable prices for the privilege - 950 kn for three courses for two, water and rakija. The wine was a further 750 kn, worth every lipa, but much less will go a long way, too.

Had organised meal here with group as part of trip. Food was great with a sea bass main but strudel for desert quite hard and lots got left uneaten. Glad to be outside on a roof terrace on a hot evening but not much of a view from this location.

    DISGUSTING BATHROOM!

We choose Pucic Palace for 2 nights of our trip to Dubrovnik. For the price, I expected much much more. This is NOT a 5 star hotelmore like a 4 star. First, you have to drag your bags from the main city gates to the hotel with minimal signs showing you the way. We had to stop several times for directions from nice local folks. Once we arrived, the male sitting at the desk was unfriendly and indifferent to our check in when speaking in English. I switch to Serbian and his tone became even more nasty. He basically said guests typically call and the hotel porters come get your bag--how is an international patron to call with out a cell phone??
ROOM: dark, facing a wall with a view of a cement wall. No place to put our luggage other than the floor which was not clearn
BATHROOM: ********DISGUSTING***********. There was hair, both head hair and pubic, ALL OVER the bathroom. I have pictures documenting how disgusting the floor was. I had to sweep the floors with toilet paper to even walk.
BED: very soft with DIRTY SHEETS. I actually pulled the covers back and found many hairs on the sheets below the top sheet. Either they don’t clean the sheets well or they were not changed.
Breakfast: nice selection, beautiful setting, service depends on the server.
    LOCATION: perfect!
OVERALL: location great BUT price not worth it

Location and room amazing. Very comfortable bed and very good decor. Curtains should have been blackout though. Staff are extremely good. Only disappointing aspect was the food in the main restaurant but so many other eating options, this shouldn't stop you staying here as everything else is a 9 or 10 out of ten

Good hotel. Good restaurant with truffles and carpaccio. Beware of the meat because for 600 grs it is around 300 eur !

Their rib-eye steak with truffle sauce is heaven! And you should try Carob cake, a Mediterranean plant substitute for chocolate.
