  Location is good but lots of noise comes from the nearby road, rooms are very poor, no electrical outlet plugs by the bed, no airconditioner & TV is old 4:3 CRT type.

  The Smart Selection Hotel Imperial in Opatija is central in the city and all the food places, the ocean, the super markets are easily accessible from here. The city itself is known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic" or the "Queen of Tourism" which I absolutely agree with because you will find all kinds of people all around the world in this place. The hotel itself has an old almost ancient kind of story because it is almost over a hundred years old, maybe even longer, I'm not quite sure while writing this review. The building really has much potential but it was sadly executed. It kind of looks like a little castle because all rooms were designed as such but it also looks kind of "destroyed". A renovation would get this hotel a 5 star hotel from a 3 star. Overall a good experience and I would still recommend it

  Hotel is ok, clean, no air conditioning in the rooms - so during summer it's very hot. Sea view = room on the side of the main street. It was not too loud, but traffic and working started early morning. Breakfast was decent, nothing special, but a good choice. Good Location right in the center of opatija. Hotel was built in 1887 and renovated 2002. So it's nice architecture and old furniture.

  Camera vecchissima, non hanno mai pulito. Niente aria condizionata, solo un ventilatore che si è rotto subito. Buffet buono.

  *****very nice hotel, especialy dinning room
  *****food and drinks delicious
  *****stuff very kind and friendly
  *****profesional service
  *** accomodation was weaker, bed terribly squeak and a fridge was missing in a room
  
  Opatija is very beatifull a memorable town with one-shot atmosphere. I missed it
