Very helpful and pleasant personel. The wellness is new, modern and offers enough services for a few days relaxation. Location is outside of Lovran, but in a short walking distance, and it is right on the promenade by the sea.

Nice interior in the room, nice moderen Wellness and good choice of self service food. Also swiming pool has see (salt) water which is great.

Great views, tad bit expensive but a good stay away from busy Opitaj Helpful staff. Parking is opposite to the hotel on top of the gas station. They charge for parking in their garage.

The hair drier not worked! I called the reception and they sad " I can not do anything".
The shoud keep some mobile hair drier at the recepsion.
We had to ask permison from other rooms to use their device. It was embarassing!!!!

I am only rating the restaurant: Very overprized food and the quality was very low. Not worth the money at all, you can find plenty of better restaurants around..

Very nice, clean room with a balcony facing the seaside. Good air conditioner in every room. Excellent place for the children as there is plenty to do in a play room and a swimming pool outside and inside of the building, also easy access to a private beach. Food for breakfast is always the same which is not so nice. Nice, helpful staff.

Old hotel but with renovated rooms, nice sea view from the room terrace. The hotel has paid parking. The free Wifi in the rooms is almost doesn't work, phone coverage is bad, TV channels doesn't work, rooms are hot and the AC doesn't work properly, the reception doesn't accept complains even if you send an email to the hotel chain company nobody care.

I visited Lovran last July and was extremely impressed with the place and the people. Travelling the world, I see a lot of things and am impressed by few. Lovran does have some old "soviet style" hotels, it is truebut the welcome and quality of service is far above what one would expect. Whether it is the food or the entertainment or the simple "Dobro Jutro" greeting on the street by a perfect stranger, Croatia can be proud of Lovran. By chance, I bumped into a Chef from the Excelsior Hotel and when he found out that I was from Canada and was on my way to Hungary, he invited me to sample some Lovran hospitality, "before you go to Hungary, where the seafood is fresh from the freezer". This man prepared for me the most delectable seafood meal, that I have ever had. I only wish that I had the time to stay at the Excelsior and sample more of Chef Miljenko masterpiecesfood fit for a King!
