Really fantastic food, friendly staff and great prices.

We came over from the UK for 2 days and were recommended this place by the local air b&b owner, and what a great find. Probably the best steak I’ve ever had period. Also the wine (only a choice of red or white) was also lovely and like I say despite everything being fantastically flavoured and good quality the prices are really reasonable. We’re going back tomorrow and I plan to order exactly the same thing! Also I have a nut allergy and they were fine in understanding and catering for that!

Gorgeous food and a wonderfully friendly group of people! Everything was done to perfection, and the modest “house white wine” is the best we’ve had on our visit to Croatia. They even accommodated a random craving I was having and let me order off the menu. An absolute must for anyone visiting. I only wish I’d taken a photo of the platter to share before it was demolished! We’re planning to be back tomorrow for round 2.

Very good food. Great prices (not as expensive as the spots close to the town (tourist prices)). The service was so amazing. I felt very welcome. When I come back to hvar I will for sure be back.. one day..

really too salty for my taste, and the flavor is not rich enough to match with the meat. the cheese totally doesn't add to the taste, but only makes it more salty.

Excellent food and service. We ordered only local foods to try different things and when we received our plates, we weren't deceived, they were amazing. The staff is very friendly and I recommend trying the salt water red wine Croatia makes there. It goes very well with their meals. The staff were even kind enough to offer us free shots of local Grappa and Limoncello!!

Our first meal on the island of Hvar, and the grilled squid was the best welcome we could have hoped for. Another must-try is the baby lamb, tender and perfectly marinated. Also one of the few places on Croatia that offers a free amuse bouche: tuna pate with bread and olive oil.

GREAT SEAFOOD IN A NICE ATMOSPHERE. SERVICE COULD BE IMPROVED THOUGH. STAFF IS NOT VERY ATTENTIVE (THEY FORGOT TO BRING DESSERT ALTHOUGH WE REMINDED THEM TWICE BEFORE LEAVING).

Great food at a local pace! Off the beaten path - which is much welcomed after spending a day in Hvar! Got the scallops, fried fish, and seafood risotto and it was all to die for, caught fresh.

We had the seafood platter for 2. It was fine, but the fish had quite a few scales and some of the fillets still had a few bones.

Super friendly staff managed to seat us without a reservation on a very busy evening (would definitely suggest booking in advance). Had the risotto with prawns (probably the best we had in Croatia) and fried fish selection alongside local sparkling wine which is definitely worth trying.

Either side of this we were given complimentary appetisers and digestifs which was a lovely touch and one of the waiters (on our second visit) remembered us and what we were planning to order after chatting to him the previous time. Well worth a visit and getting away from the main strip for an evening!

The ambience and chef is an amazing experience in itself. The scallops to start were phenomenal. We were granted free liqueur and were not rushed at all although there were lines down the stair (recommended to book!). Only downfall was fish had some bones but I was assured that doesn't happen often at all - the lamb was AMAZING and the tuna look great. The scallops were the best I've ever had!! Just those fiddly small sea bream ones every restaurant would struggle with!
