Food was perfect, the risotto melted in my mouth! Sea bass fell right off the bone and had a wonderful flavor. Truffle Gnocchi was filling. Go to the rooftop, relaxing place for dinner

Delicious restaurant. It has an upstairs terrace with nice sky view.
The food was delicious. I had the fried calamari, home made pasta with shrimp and troufles, and my wife chicken with gorzonzola sauce. All 3 plates were really good. And the best thing of all is that after spending a month in Europe I experienced quality service from a group of waiters.response / report this review -

문어 구이를 시켰는데 다리 몇개는 문드러져 떨어지고 흐물흐물한 지린내나는 시체구이가 나왔습니다 몇년전 누군가 네이버 블로그에 올린 사진만 보고 찾아간건데 메뉴가 바뀌었더군요 루프탑자리라 하늘보이는건 좋지만 맛이 정말 최악중의 최악입니다

Delicious food, the truffle sea food pasta (gluten free!) was perfect and the grilled fish was tasty and perfectly cooked (not over cooked and dry as it often is). The wines were also excellent and local and the service very attentive and made sure we understood what was on the menu when we had the inevitable questions about items.

Amazing food.. it had moved and is not on the water front where Google data it is just in case you can't find it. We had the truffle gnocchi, mussels, Galician octopus and caprese salad.. all exceptional. Highly recommend!

Luna ended up being the restaurant of choice for my birthday when visiting Hvar and it was by far the best meal we had in Croatia. Only the sister restaurant down the street, Giaxa cam close, but the service and atmosphere at Luna was incredible. It may have been the only place in Croatia where the waiter actually carried a conversation with us, he was exceptionally friendly and had excellent recommendations. He had the special quality only great waiters have where you feel like he has your best interest at heart and would protect you no matter what. Or maybe it was just the great food talking.
The rooftop was incredible with great stargazing and a nice breeze. No wonder they refer to the stairways up as the stairway to heaven.
The decor matches the food which is not overly serious but tasteful and high quality.
They knew it was my birthday, but at my wish didn't do a song or anything, and kept it very tasteful.
The food was outstanding and definitely the best fish we had in Croatia. The wine was excellent and not too pricey; we ended up getting the same the next night at Giaxa. It was again the waiters recommendation which we continued to follow blindly through the meal, never being led astray or take advantage of as would have been easy in our wine and fish stupor. The saad with greens tomatoes and goat cheese was appropriately Mediterranean and flavorful in a fresh sunny way. The octopus salad was incredible with sliced tentacles doused in a savory spice that only brought out the flavor of the mollusk. This was one of the best octopus we had in Croatia, only potentially beaten by the whole tentacles at Giaxa.
We then deferred to the recommendation again and went with the traditional gregada or fish stew, popular across Croatia and the islands. This was bursting with flavor with delicious catch of the day fresh fish in a creamy white wine sauce with potatoes. I will go to my grave dreaming of this fish. This fish gave me cartoon hallucinations of happy cats singing after eating it. Ah to be able to have this every day.
As a respectful measure to my birthday, they brought out a flan like custard dessert on the house which was a very nice touch. The custard was nice and soft but firm and had great flavor and sweetness balance.
This was absolutely the best meal in Croatia and one of the best I've had. Perfect for a special occasion or just the fish lover on holiday.response / report this review
