Best bar on the island. This is where I start my evening on Roatan. They close at 10 sharp so it works great to start there and work your way down the main Street. The burgers are excellent. The prices are great. The music is always good. For big sporting events they will bring out big screen TVs to watch on. Can't say enough good about them.

This place is exactly what it sounds like a little thatched roof place on the beach where you have drinks and watch the sun go down. Very fun and the night we were there the sunset did not disappoint. Fire twirler on the beach after dark was a fun surprise.

Perfect local bar positioned to watch the day end. Bartenders are sweet and happy hour is the time to be there. Try the chicken wings which are mentioned as locally made never frozen and the fries were unexpectedly good. Chicken BBQ burger was so-so. Add a local music vibe and you found a cool hangout.

How I rated: +1 for being alive, +1 beachfront, +1 live music, + friendly crowd, -1 solicitors trying to sell stuff and credit cards not accepted.

Great place to hang out in west bay. Good drinks (try a Zack attack) The bartenders were friendly and would keep an eye on your bag for you if you want to go bathe in the sea as the islanders call it, or go for a swim. Definitely swim out the rocking ship and swing off the rope. It's fun!

I ordered a wrap which didn't require any kind of cooking (meat). Just avocado and other veggies. Took an hour to come out. My husband had been long done with his dinner by the time mine came out. And it was not very good. I think this is hopefully a rare occurrence since I am a vegetarian. But if you are a vegetarian, I would not recommend this place. Otherwise, it was a nice atmosphere.

Taco Tuesday is a great night to meet people. Really any night is good for that. Best tacos in Roatan at a price you won't believe. I hope they bring back BBQ Sundays
