I was somewhat apprehensive going into my open water certification, but everyone at coconut tree divers were so knowledgeable, professional, helpful and kind. My instructor, Rachael was incredible, she along with all the others at Coconut Tree Divers ensure that every diver has a safe and great time! I would 100% recommend Coconut Tree for every diver!

Did my rescue course and Divemaster internship over 2 months. It was my first time traveling outside of the U.S. so I was a bit nervous. The Coconut Tree staff made everything amazing! There should be an option for 6 stars because this place earned it. Thanks CTD, Ill be back soon!

Got my Open Water with Coconut Tree Divers! It was a great time. The staff is experienced and personable and the shop has a very friendly atmosphere. Shane Grooby was my instructor and he was awesome! He had been diving for a long time and was very enthusiastic and fun! We saw lots of sea creatures every time we went out. I did a night dive after completing my course and it was downright magical. There was bio luminance all around and we also saw string of pearls. Amazing!!

My son (12 years old) went for a dive with coconut tree divers and it was really good, he had a lot of fun.

Friendly and professional atmosphere. Great rates and lots of experience in diving and living in Roatan. I did my open water certification with SHAYNE GROOBY. I recommend Shayne! He is a passionate and concientous individual, an excellent and fun teacher and has over ten years experience.

Fantastic little dive shop in the best part of Roatan. This group is a silly bunch that loves to have fun and laugh. However when it comes to dive safety they are all business. Attention to detail is wonderful. No short tank fills. Gay the owner is top notch!!! FIVE STAR dive shop.

What a great way to kick off our cruise. Roatan was our first port and first diving day. Not everyone in our group were divers so they allowed the rest of our group to join as snorkelers. Unfortunately the water was a little rough, but that was out of their control. Gaynor was very welcoming when we got there and Ted, our dive guide for the day, was awesome! He was able to point out a lot of neat little critters that we otherwise would have missed. Ted was really knowledgeable about the area, especially the turtles. He even talked about the devastation of coral bleaching that hit their area a few months before our visit. You could tell he was passionate about what he does because he made our dives that much better! Would definitely go back again

Loved my time here! The folks at Coconut Tree Divers are knowledgeable, friendly, and super cool! They welcome you with arms wide open and make you feel right at home.

Because it was a slow week during the rainy season in November, my SO and I were the only visitors and I was able to get my Advanced Open Water done with one on one attention, which is totally unheard of! The instructor, Rachael, and DMT, Sammy, were very patient as they walked me through the five courses of the AOW in classroom work and practice dives. I had a wonderful time hanging out with them inside the classroom and on regular dives.

We booked everything through Gay, the dive shop owner, over email ahead of time. We purchased a 10 dive package and a 7 night stay at Coconut Tree Cabins for two. The dives came out to be $30/dive - inclusive of rental gear (I had my own fins, snorkel, mask, and booties). Since I already had the 10 dive package, I was able to split 5 of them for practice and 5 of them for fun dives and only paid the difference of what the AOW course cost.

The marine life here is beautiful and if you check it out with the best dive shop on the island, you won't be disappointed!

PS - Apparently the only tec diver on the entire island is at this shop. ;)

Can't say enough about the great experience we had with the help of Monty and Alex the owners and Dive-master Ted!!! We came to Roatan to dive with my 17 year old and my wife to finish her Open Water and get certified. Now, we have ALL of our family of 5 certified and excited to continue to explore marine life and more. I had compared prices and flexibility of 4 other top reviewed shops and Conconut Tree Divers were more competitive than most others, but with more flexibility for our family needs. Their location in the West End also made it easy to find and facilitate our experience with the boats docked out front and cordoned off areas in the water for the steps needed for our kids to get fully certified. They even provided iPads to use after hours so our kids could do the classroom work and come back the next day ready for the quizzes and more dives! Big thanks to all and Dive-master Ted for making this a truly memorable experience for the family.

I dove with these guys many times and earned several certifications here. The dive instructors are always friendly and the prices are in line with the other dive shops. There are many dive shops on this island, but I can assure you, you'll be satisfied with Coconut Tree. As a master diver who has dives all over the world, I can say Roatan has one of the best reefs in the world.

First time in Roatan and diving with Coconut Tree Divers. What an amazing group to dive with. As an assistant scuba instructor and experienced diver, I was pleased with the care that Rudy and Glenn took with us. They found a seahorses for us! Good dive briefing, spot on safety protocols on board and in the water. Gay was helpful, professional, and responsive to our needs and time constraints. Can't wait to go back and dive with them again!

This dive shop was the highlight of my cruise, very professional and treated us extremely well. We are all beginners and they took their time to make sure we understood everything and took us on an amazing underwater tour. One of the guys even took pics of us with our gopro. I highly recommend this. They picked us up close to the port and got us back at the time we wanted to be back. Super friendly staff too!!
