Small room but clean and good value for money. A pity that rooms and building smell quite a lot of cigarette smoke :(
Standard room size is good for a average person hotel is neet and clean on main road hkia to kowloon via express metro and from there to shuttle left you nearby the hotel the best thing they will provide you the free wifi and a absolute free phone for local use you can call free in hk and several other countries still i m staying here.
Friendly, helpful and amazing staff. Thanks to Eric, Stella and another front staff person. I am embarrassed that I can't remember his name.
The bedroom was small and the bed as well, but it was definitely clean! The position of the hotel is amazing ( close to the orange line, 10 minutes walking from the red one) and just 40 minutes away from the apt. The staff of the hotel was GREAT - I really recommend this hotel!
Good Hotel. Not good room service. very small rooms.good and helpful stuff . many restaurants around it. laundry shop very close and also halal food at the next building.
Amenities were as advertised and expected of a hotel at this price range. Everything went well except for the internet which was very erratic whether using the in room wifi or the handset hotspot.
Reasonably priced set dinner. Food quality was alright. A small restaurant but the quiet atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable. Located just next to the vibrant Mongkok district so very convenient to get to.
This hotel is one of the best in Hong Kong. Although the rooms are small, they are very cozy and come with a travel adapter. The complimentary smartphone made our visit much more enjoyable, being able to host an unlimited wifi hotspot. I will definitely be coming back again.
The room is old but clean and with a good size (good for Hong Kong). The staff are really impolite, specially one of the receptionist (not even reply to our good morning), they should give complementary water also.
MTR is close, station Olympic, take exit C2 or B, enter HSBC building and take the escalator down.
The staff was courteous, but slightly invasive. Even with a do not disturb sign in the door, the cleaning staff attempts to enter the room to clean twice. The rooms are small for USA standards, but comparable to rooms found in Europe.
Room is smaller than expected. Clean and friendly staff. Lots of places to eat if you love eating. MTR close by within walking distance.
Very friendly staff , rooms clean but small , all we needed for our stay . Good service all round .
Silka Hotel is good for a business trip, located in Mong Kok very convenient place to use MTR Train, to eat Western Food and have some supermarkets and pharmacy very near. The only problem is the size of shower, really is very small try see pictures of other ratings. Bed is also small, so the if you stay for a few days and want a better price is ok to stay in Silka.
Efficient and professional check in but the bathroom is really really small.
One of the best 3 star hotels to use when you travel to Hong Kong. Breakfast is not that awesome, but around the hotel are local restos to taste the flavours of HKG.
The place is nice and clean. They have friendly and accommodating staff. Whole place is also Wi-Fi enabled. They even lend you a smartphone at no extra charge which comes pre-loaded with 5GB of data and unlimited calls and text to local numbers. Definitely a good place to rest in after the adventures of the day.
However, the rooms can feel a bit cramped. I would not recommend this to plus-sized persons.
Nice place to stay, not so close to the busy city life but still perfect to stay after a day from busy shopping and exploring
Near MTR and Bus Terminus
Near super markets
Few walk to Mong Kok
Near mtr, mall, 7-11, mcdonalds, tim howan
Clean, well maintained, nice staff, simple amenities included. Neighborhood is nice, lots of affordable places to eat and shop. 5min walk to Olympic station. Would stay here again.
Rooms are tiny, like literally just a bed, however they're clean, and they give you a free phone to use which was great.
Good price and above average service. Shuttle bus service and Handy phone are two great features. Tiny room but it's Hong Kong.
Nice hotel, not the biggest rooms but bigger than I thought it would be. It is clean and tidy. The furniture isn't very modern or new but is just fine. The beds are like all other beds in Hong Kong, a bit firm. There is a feature in this hotel that I find extremely helpful. The hotel provides you with a mobile phone with unlimited Internet and domestic calls. For free. The phone is modified with a OS that caters to tourists, so alot of useful information and tips on where to go and what to do in Hong Kong. Would definitely recommend using. The only thing that I found abit annoying, but not really a big problem, was that there wasn't any easy accessible power outlet to charge your phone or laptop. The location is good, pretty close to a MTR.
Over priced, rooms are decievingly large looking on website. Booked a double room and received two singles beds. I went to the room for 20 minutes to call reservation Company instead of waiting in the lobby and therefore had to pay a whole nights stay with no refund. As I was leaving another guest was experiencing the same issue as me. The staff at the counter were very unhelpful and one man was rude from the second I walked in. Highly unreccommend this place. Alternatively you can stay at the oriental lander down the road where they have exceptional service and better rooms.
Rooms are small at moderate pricing. Front desk staffs are very helpful. The hotel rate vary day by day depending on occupancy.! Strategic located and easily accessible to many places.
