Good price (HKD300 average per night for a two person room), free basic breakfast included (a drink + a pastry per person), basic amenities and average bed. Little to no service but hey can’t beat the price!
Yes - the room is small, but rent prices are expensive in HK, as in every bag major city. If one wants a bigger private area, must be prepared to pay more. I have no complaints about the service I received.
Nice budget hotel
Great price for medium std business stay is OK Transit purposes
Mainland china travellers hotel
Great price for Hong Kong but very basic to low quality. Location is a bit difficult for taxi and you are not near any major attractions or night life.
Unfriendly staff, bad location. Room is clean and you get free handy you can use during your stay for the unlimited internet and calls. It's ok budget hotel if you stay one or two nights. Did I mention unfriendly staff? Well, there is really unfriendly staff working in there. Like really unfriendly! Btw location is not good at all. Far from MTR and everything else too.
Unfriendly staff, breakfast was very average, booked a room for 3 but they refused to give us 3 sets of towels unless persistently asked, bathroom was terribly designed and kept flooding, lobby had overwhelming rose air freshener smell (seriously you could smell it from the main road, it was like nothing I'd ever experienced). It did seem clean though. And it was very cheap.
Edit: oh yeah, and 500hkd deposit we weren't expecting. Really quite a lot for young people traveling on a tight budget. Never had a deposit required for a hotel before or since. Especially since we booked by credit card.
We got a family room for up to 3 people (one twin, one full size bed) room is bigger than I expected, bigger than some new York or Chicago boutique hotel rooms. At the front desk they only asked for the information of the person on who's name the reservation was, so if you're OK to share a twin you could easily snick 4 people in. Free wi fi, very clean (room itself and the shower/toilet room). Beds are bit hard, but I personally like em like that. Expect to pay 500HKD deposit at the check in, cash or card. We didn't have enough in HKD so they took USD and made a receipt indicating amount and currencies. Close to all the bus stops. So far, no complains AT ALL. 5 STARS.
