Free museum to tour an ancient large house owned by a rich family. Good historic exposure to understand some of the Chinese culture.
Really good village restoration. Definitely worth a visit. And don't forget the garden area to the side.
I love this museum. It shows the life ordinary people led and the progress towards the modern world. It is clean, authentic and well organized.
Great place to learn about the historical timeline of the Hakka-clan in early-days HK
It was educational in a unique and creative way.
Nice museum - it is a home from the old Hakka village that has been converted. You can get an idea of how they lived in that period - the building design is unique and we walked away with a few good borrowed ideas. Right next to the Tsuen Wan MTR.
a history museum that restoration work to recreate the authentic facets of the Hakka walled village. There are many furniture in the period house and farming implements.
Go see for yourself if you are looking for folk cultural artifacts. Very interesting.
One of HK's better museums. Worth a trip and very nicely restored. Great location for photos.
Excellent museum, well maintained and free. And it is actually within the walkable distance from Tsuen Wan MTR station
Informative, accessible and free! The Museum is great for local and tourist.
