Bo Lo Bao are fresh and large. However, Bo Lo Yau was not good. They cut the Bao vertically with scissors and the butter inserted was not cold and hard so melted soft before you could eat it. The Portuguese tart was Perfection. DO NOT BUY BEEF BUN, it tastes like TOOTH PASTE inside which is made up of corn beef straight out of the can and onion. Yuck.
Best polo bun and Portuguese egg tart ever!
Their pineapple bun and Portuguese egg tart are umissable. Simply delicious when fresh out of the oven. A popular way to eat pineapple bun is to sandwich a slab of butter within it which turns 菠蘿包 to 菠蘿油. I never tried but apparently it's quite tasty.
The famous Sai Kung pineapple bun.One word Delicious.
keep coming back for afternoon tea! love it!
One of the best egg tart in Hong Kong and Macau. Awesome taste at a reasonable price. Pineapple bread is also good.
Best Portuguese egg tarts I had!! And I didn't even eat them fresh
Very nice pineapple bun 'bo lo pay' if you are willing to join the queue
An institution of HK style baked goods. Pineapple buns & egg tarts rule here. Don't miss them ! Baked fresh all day.
Ordered a hot tea but realised that I would like to have iced tea instead so i requested to amend that order (just to add ice to that tea) whilst it was still being made.
the reply was one that i was made to feel guilty of the trouble that i had caused. in no uncertain terms.
the shop was empty save for another table at that time. So yes, come here if you enjoy short, sharp, curt and abrupt service.
