Love it and keep going back. From a branch to another even abroad the quality is consistent and all dishes are good and well prepared. Service is fast is bill is very reasonable. Will continue to go back
To die for! Amazing Taiwanese dim sum company. Causeway bay one is phenomenal. During rush hour, they cap you at 1.5 hr meal. Their pork soup dumplings are out of this world (don't bother with chicken). Sticky rice & fried rice, phenomenal. Stir fry vegetables are delicious. As for dessert… you have to try the taro dumplings or red bean buns. They will blow your mind!
The queue was manageable at peak. When you are seated, you are immediately told that you only one hour and a half to order, eat and stay. Food was excellent. My only complaint was that there was no chicken feet on the Menu.
Din Tai Fung gets quite busy. We were there before the peak dinner time, but it filled up by the time we left. The staff was attentive and we didn't wait long to place our order or for the food to start coming out. I enjoyed the food we ordered, however was disappointed that most of the options include pork. We we're not even able to order any vegetables as they are cooked in a broth that includes pork. The fact that this is disclosed on the menu is appreciated though!
Everything from the service and atmosphere to the endless choices of dim sum to choose from, Din Tai Fung has all the bases covered. We really enjoyed our meal here. So much so that we ordered a few additional choices to top us off. Service was impeccable and prices are reasonable for the quality and freshness of the food they offer. We certainly recommend that you check them out too!
Super fresh Dim Sum.
First impression was that it was nice and clean. Staff quite attentive and quick.
The quality of the dim sum was great. Could not stop eating. I ordered 3 sets of dim sum and the only negative thing was that they brought everything separately with a bit of waiting time in between.
The waitress actually came to tell me that they are re-preparing one of my orders because it did not meet their standard and apologized for the delay.
So overall good, would recommend it. They have a open kitchen concept to see how they prepare the dim sum. 👇🏼
Top class Dim Sum, I can see why this place has such a good reputation. Not the cheapest place to eat but not most expensive either considering the quality of food. If you like Dim Sum and are in Causeway Bay you have to give this place a try.
Can't think of anything bad to say about this place, everything is delicious! The soup pork dumplings and fried pork wontons are our favorite, and be sure to get the black sesame bun for dessert. This place is always busy, but their system for getting folks in and out is incredibly efficient.
All time favourite. It’s one of the best cuisines for people from all around the world. All menu items consistently deliver good quality. Won’t let you down.
Recommended dishes: bitter melon appetiser, noodles with spring onion. Yummy!
A very very nice place... Must visit for FOODIES... Veg non veg lots of GOOD food... Quick service friendly...but has waiting time... So book and go... Try all the DIMSIMS and the noodles and the veggies and the. EVERYTHING... Not too expensive
All around the Din Tai Fung chain consistently delivers great quality Chinese food. Their signature dish are their xiao long baos. This place is highly recommended and also perfect for coming with family. Try to come early to avoid lines.
Honestly, it’s so consistent and so delicious, if you want to have good dumplings with no surprises, this is the place. And the wait isn’t as long anymore, service is still decent for a local place, and it’s clean and the food comes out fast. Always a go-to place for xiaolongbaos
Very good dimsams, quality service. In the rush hour a lot of people and have to wait, but not for long. The meeting of guests and the queue system are organized very correctly, depending on the number of people in your company. Attached a photo with a brief description and web site address.
Quality food and service and good prices
Tried Din Tai Fung for the first time and was not disappointed. A great place to check out for Dim Sum. Despite its popularity, we were promptly seated and served. Friendly and efficient service compliments the quality food. We will be back!
The best Xiao Long Bao on the planet! The dough was not too thick, the meat was divine and the broth was to die for. Other great dishes included the spinach in garlic and the noodles in the special soy based sauce. Definitely my favourite spot when I'm around Causeway Bay!
Amazing dumplings! With clean and friendly service. Visited just after 2pm for lunch, did not have to wait, the place was full but not overcrowded at this time :)
Nice take away service starting from taking order over the phone. All food are well packed, however, concern more for the Earth and support green! 💚
While steamed dumplings are what it is most famous for, the shrimp dumplings tossed in spicy "red oil" sauce is what is to die for. There is a delicacy in everything from dumpling wraps to how veggies are prepared, meticulously shaving away the harsher parts (see pic). No RSVP allowed. Go on off time to avoid long queues.
One of the best places for Taiwanese dumplings in Hong Kong. Try the original flavour. They used to have a crab roe dumpling that was amazing, pity they stopped serving it.
Great place for dumplings.
Fast service.
You can watch how they prepare and cook them.
This place is a 1 star Michelin restaurant.
Quick service. Food is healthy and yummy. So clean. Great place to go if you're not used to dirty Hong Kong.
