Nice place. Would not call it a 5 star hotel. Hallway and room smelled a little moldy. Looks like they work hard at keeping an old building as nice as possible. A couple restaurants and bar in the hotel. Adjacent to convention center. Casino, fitness, pool. Street can be noisy. Piano and flute were playing in the lobby, nice touch.
Not far from the airport.

The hotel is incredibly beautiful and well located in the Zona Viva. There are numerous restaurants and bars with great breakfast and lunch buffets daily on offer; albeit a bit pricey. The gym facilities are gorgeous and have everything you need for a solid workout including free daily classes and steam rooms. The pool and hot tub are immaculately clean and lovely. Only warning is while staying in the City areas around are not as easily accessible as other capital cities and you are somewhat close to the airport (occasional flyby noise) but this is normal for any hotel in the area.

Very sophisticated and beautiful hotel in the heart of Guatemala City. Excellent friendly service. Rooms are well equipped with soaps, shampoos, robes and the bedding is super comfortable. 8th and 9th floors are executive level and include breakfast and round the clock service and amenities.

I sought refuge in this hotel.
This is a great place to relax in Guatemala City.
They try their best to relieve your stress.
Great food in the restaurant.
I was on the 9th floor looking at the pool.
Make sure you have a swim, so nice.
Fruit locally grown tastes sweat.

Nice hotel. Was on the executive floor. Overall a good experience and value for the money. There were small inconvenient aspects such as no plug where the cofee machine was located. And A/C hits you on the back of your head when you are working at the desk. Rather umcomfortable. It was nice to have a window that opens (a little).

Simply the best hotel in Guatemala city. I was there on business by myself, and was so nicely treated by the staff. Classic 5 star atmosphere, all the staff are standing up right, ironed and just so ready to serveit's like they really want to carry your luggage.

The cool thing isyou don't get the feeling that they do it for the tip, I'm sure if you want to tip it would be fine, but I think its just a Guatemalan trait.

The place was spotless, both the rooms and the lobby etc. Spotless. But, what I really enjoyed was the Spa. Man o man. Again, immaculately clean and great personalized service (thank you! Elias & IsidoRo). Super HOT steam room, a great Cold aspen shower and a great pool and hot tub. Just awesome to start and end a trip like this. Thanks Guatemala! The only thing I can think of as an improvement : valet parking.

Many things didn't work in the room. I got tried of complaining and all they kept saying is we will have someone look at it. I took a walk down the street and went to another hotel.

An amazing hotel. As an SPG Platinum member, I've stayed at innumerable Westins. The Westin Camino Real is by far my favorite of all of them. Stellar property in a perfect location, with absolutely great service and beautiful rooms. I was upgraded to a large elegant suite. The lounge and service there were great. Free parking as well. Highly recommend the Westin Camino Real!

This hotel provides the best venue in Guatemala for a large scale events and the staff is the most helpful and friendly in the industry. The venue is impeccable and the hotel staff perfectly accommodated the needs of 1,000!

The service provided here is very professional. The tone is quite regal, and when I stepped into the dining area with my jeans and t-shirt I felt a little underdressed. The accommodations are very updated, with potable water, WiFi and a nice bathroom and shower. Located very close to the airport and right in the center of town. There are shuttles to and from the airport every 30 minutes.

I lost my connection flight to Guatemala, I call that day to inform them that I will not make it that day. next day arrived at the hotel and was informed that they will change me a no show a full day charge. I'm a platinum member. This is unacceptable they lost my business of 6 day stay I left to another hotel.

I stayed here March 30 through April 2nd. The Hotel seems a bit tired and in need of some updating. Food was good, and staff courteous. I had a serious problem on my third day with a horrible smell in my room, that smelled like bug spray. It took me at least two hours to resolve this problem. They first brought in a fan to my room. I went to the front desk and said this was not acceptable. Also inquired what bugs had been found in my room. Was told it was on the floor below me, and the fume were going up through the vents. My question was, how could anyone think it was acceptable to leave me in that room. Finally was moved, which I had to do myself , and ended up missing my hair apt. for the wedding.

I went to a wedding in La Terrazza saloon. The experience was great, good decoration, clean and neat. 2 things I didn't like, food and drinks were being took away early giving the sense that they wanted us to leave and the elevators are really old and scary.
