Great Hotel with a very friendly staff at a great price. Free airport shuttle and other amenities. I'm definitely staying here again. Ask for the suites. Very comfortable with everything you need.

Fantastic, large room with two TV's, large refrigerator, bar, microwave, separated living room. The service was great and everything was very clean and well kept!

My experience at Mercure was horrible. We had a senior moment, and accidentally booked 3 rooms for the same night. We were forced to pay extra or be evicted, even though we paid for 3 rooms, they refused to allow us to stay the next day on the room we did not use. They WERE within their legal right, but they care very little about the opinons of their clientele. No more Mercure for me, they can build their rivers in Brazil and plant 3,000,000 trees, but they don;t know tiddly squat about trying to keep their customers happy.

We had a very large and comfortable room with cali king size bed. Everything was okay, but the wifi was very slow when connected. It is located about 10 minutes cab ride from the main plaza. We felt relatively safe waljing around at night moving from bar to bar.

Friendly service, yet you have to sign agreements to use balcony and other anemities. Business center consists of two computers in the corner of the lobby and copy/fax is at the front desk. The spa was enriching, and gym contains the basic. Staff was very polite throughout the stay. I would like to stay again

Room Size was good but we had to ask for toilet paper. The room was FREEZING COLD and the A/C was not on. The location was great, but the address and link for Google Maps and Wayz sent us in circles. The Hotel Charges per person per day $15 and this is not listed anywhere on the website. There is breakfast included in the price of the room if you agree and the buffet was really good. the Wait Staff was excellent, but the front desk was very "matter of fact" and not very service friendly. We needed directions while driving due to the GPS issues and they were unconcerned with helping us find the hotel. I am certain I will look elsewhere before heading back here, but due to the location, I would not say we would never go back.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at in Guatemala City. I was able to get a suite rather cheaply and it was great the room was so quiet.
The breakfast was included for all guest and was pretty good. There are hot and cold items, fruit, and pastries.
The internet was included with my room as well and was fast enough for everything but streaming HD content.response / report this review
