Nice Place to stay just a bit wearn out but for three nights perfect. Good price and nice buffet and bar at the river.. Try to stay three nights if you enjoy it hiking

Not child freindly. They played music at the bar until 3:00am in the morning both nights we stayed. First night I asked to talked to the manager at 2:00 am, he was the one playing the music. Although he was polite he had no intention to turn the music off. Tough couple of sleepless nights for the family.

I liked everything it's a very beautiful place, I liked that it was pet friendly I saw dogs walking around just relaxing. I would only take out one star cuz of the long times to be served both in reception and in the restaurant.

I very much enjoyed our stay here. The dorms are very reasonably priced. All of the transportation and tour prices are much cheaper than the other places in town. The hostel is also located right on the river as well. It ins a nice place to chill out and go for a swim. Or you can take river tube and finish you journey here. The staff are friendly and helpful as well.

Nice hostel at the river. Food is oke, but expensive. I wanted to stay one night more, but the room was suddenly more expensive, so I did not.

The best location and conditions you could get compering to the rest of the hotels.
This place has electricity wifi and hot water.
It's located by the river which makes the stay even better. We took one additional night just to hang out in the hotel enjoy the view and the river tubing.
4 starts because the room were smelly because of the mildew.

Beautiful place just by the river 10 minutes walking from the centre of the village. We have booked with booking and got a bed for 4 dollars! Which was a great price for such place. The only thing was the Internet. Only in the restaurant and very very weak.

Place was amazing the people were even more so my daughter and I Had the Time of Our Lives I don't know if we've ever had a better time together. So maybe three Stars, haha five stars for sure

Great location in Lanquin with access to river and picturesque gardens. Great food options. Not enough shared toilet/showers and in some rooms a long walk to use them

The hostel is picturesque, clean, vibrant, friendly. The hostel sits a top a hill on the river bank overlooking rolling grassy Hills. You can swim in an enclave, take tubes, play pool, swing over the river. The staff are friendly and helpful, free lifts from the shuttle drop off points. Tours are cheap from here. A daily buffet dinner brings the entire hostel together for a delicious meal. Happy hour keeps them together. Two for one night special. So good we did it twice.

Great place to go for relaxation and to visit semuc champey. Not a party hostel at all. Everyone would leave the restaurant/bar at 9 for there rooms

What a beautiful place! This lodge sits by the river, where you can relax with a coffee in the morning and a beer in the evening. They have dorms, private rooms and entire cabins. The buffet dinners each night are top notch and cheap, also catering to vegetarians. A lovely peaceful place - stay here!

Great relaxing place to visit Semuc Champey. Good breakfast and buffet style dinners with a different choice every night. Cabins were basic but nice and reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Location and serenity

This place is located in what seemed to be a safe location in Lanquin. It is easy to access from the "main" road.

The place is owned and ran by Guatemalans and offers multiple lodging options. I stayed in a dorm which offers a comfortable single bed and a locker big enough for a back pack or for your personal good. As expected, there was no heat or AC as it is not necessary. The showers are nice and hot, but don't forget to turn on the breaker!

There was a buffet style supper at 730 pm which brought everyone together. You need to sign up in advance and there is plenty quality fresh food to be had for everyone. It is a nice way to mingle with people.

I did not witness any kind of party as most people seemed to enjoy the this place to relax.

The views are incredible and only made better by the beautiful people occupying the place.

I would recommend. If you want a party though, go to Zephyr.
