City circus is in a great location with nice, if small, private rooms. The staff was very helpful with recommendations of what to see while in Athens.

Awesome design hostel both exterior & interior. Tip top cleanliness. Located right beside a high rating Zanpano restaurant.

Best hostel I've stayed in by far. So clean. Great staff. Great location. Very reasonably priced. You won't find a better hostel in Athens

Overall, a clean, cozy, welcoming space for all travelers. Rooftop patio is a gem, especially for views of the Acropolis. Nice connection to the restaurant downstairs called Zampanó, which has a free glass of wine during happy hour for Hostel guests. Plus, all Hostel guests get 15% off at the restaurant.

Didn't rate 5 stars because of slow wifi, which you can only access in the common area, and we stayed in the loft on the rooftop. The AC was busted for our night there, making it a hot, sleepless night. Besides that, I recommend it and would stay again. Friendly staff and good location.

The design and atmosphere of this hostel is very well thought of and is one of the best I have visited in Europe. The rooftop terrace has a great view of the Parthenon and is a great space to meet other travelers. The front desk staff is very friendly and will help you answer any questions you have about the city. I had the penthouse room which was great! My only complaint is that the price was higher then most other private rooms in Athens. Also I feel that because I paid so much for my accommodation that breakfast should be Included and it was not. Aside from that this is a great hostel and I highly recommend it.

Great location! Plenty of food options around. The hostel itself feels cozy and welcoming as soon as you arrive. They have everything you need. The beds are comfy too! Thanks for a lovely stay, was hoping to stay again on my way out, but you are fully booked!

    Ok the hostel was clean.
But we didn't appreciate our stay there because of how the employee that works at night (I think his name is Christos) treated us. There's a certain way to treat customers and this guy didn't seem to know it. For example, we were OUTSIDE of the hostel in front of the door and we were talking. We were not that loud. The guy came to us twice telling us we were way too loud. The second time, he even threatened us to call the police. That's one of the multiple events that happened with this employee. We really felt that he had a personal problem with us; maybe it could be because we were a group of black people, we don't know. This made our experience in City Circus really unpleasant.

Great hostel in perfect neighborhood. Our room was very clean, towels were provided and there was even a room service. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and provided valuable recommendations on where to go, what to see and where to eat. Highly recommend place for visiting Athens!

Clean, well run hostel. If you like cooking, for yourself, go somewhere else (the only cooking mechanisms in the kitchen are a microwave and a panini press)

Very friendly staff, very clean. Walked into room late at night after arriving from airport and the air conditioning was nice and cold, with clean bathrooms (bring your own towel), and a great restaurant cafe/bar downstairs serving a tasty menu. The hostel is in very hip young area, lots of things to do. Monastiraki metro station (blue line to airport) is about 5 min walk max. Happy I stayed here

We arrived late and were off pretty early the next day, but we loved this place & would definitely go back. Very funky interior with a nice cafe/restaurant downstairs. Comfy beds, clean facilities. Only downside is it's maybe in a little bit of a dodgy area for walking around at nighttime.
