An interesting museum if you have 30 - 45 minutes to spare in Sparti. Upstairs there is plenty of information about the history of olives and olive oil in Greece. Downstairs there is a lot of replica and original olive oil and soap manufacturing machines that have been used for 1000s of years.

When my husband and I visited the Museum we were amazed of how well organized the museum was. You could walk through it and learn everything about the production of olive oil and the culture behind it! Great place to go definitely!
