This is a story that should not be forgotten.A massacre by the Germans on 13th Dec 1943 of the entire village of Kalavryta as payback for helping the resistance movement.

Excellent museum. A must visit, the earliest in your trip possible, in order to understand the history and the background of the whole area.
Also very cheap entrance, 3 euros general entrance, 1.5 euros for students.
