What an amazing place, stayed March 2018. Family (staff) were such beautiful people. Food was great, Burre (pool Burre on beach)was beautiful. Kay, Maria, Jope, Noni, Sam just to name a small few were so welcoming. Jetty dinner, private beach picnic, Cloud Nine visit all outstanding. Would highly recommend this beautiful resort. Going back around August, can hardly wait . Vinaka to all the beautiful family at Tropica. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. Swany & Jude

Nice and quiet resort. Not too many villas means not to many people. The pool is huge with a lovely outlook over looking the sea. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is great. If you're not happy with the food the chef will go out of his way to make sure all is well. I would recommend buying the food package. Individual items on the menu is expensive. Normal for fiji.

The views from this small resort are truly beautiful. I've heard places say they want you to feel like part of the family before, but this is the first place where it seemed like they actually meant it. It's small enough that you get to know the other guests and feel like you're in an even bigger family. There are plenty of activities, though you can also just lay by the pool or beach and do nothing. The spa was wonderful. We didn't love the bures, because it was too hot and muggy for us to be in them without air conditioning, which required all the shutters to be closed; it wasn't too bad, though, because we didn't spend a ton of time there. The kitchen made wonderful food and the drinks were unique and delicious every night. We will be back. It's just a matter of how long will it take us to save up and fly back.

The perfect place to escape the real world. A small resort with great accommodation, fantastic food and beautiful waters for swimming, snorkelling, kayaking & paddle boarding. An wonderful child free resort.

Great place and great service. The staff was excellent from the moment we arrived to the goodbye. They made us feel very welcome and like we were in a second home. The happy hours in the bar at sunset with quiz and games organised was fabulous and a lot of fun. Daily activities organised with snorkling at very good spots. Our room had a small pool facing the waterfront which is a must. Free paddleboard and kayaks for guests use and the water is quite shallow as Tropica is naturally sheltered making a good and relaxed afternoon activity. The musicians are the best I've ever heard playing live, with the staff joining them in happy mood. Staff dedication and service friendly and professional at the best level. And most of all making us feel like family. The best place we ever experienced and recommend to everyone if you are looking for a special celebration in Fiji.

I stayed in a beach vila with a fantastic view of the beach, it was worth it. The room was amazing, and had everything I needed. Too bad the free WiFi didn't work in my room (it was more distant from the main area of the resort, but I would say it was almost a private beach for us). It is a very romantic place, good for spending time with your spouse - I didn't see any children in there, so I guess it's an adult exclusive spot. There's a spa, and a boutique store available for the guests. The pool is amazing, and you can order food and cocktails right from where you are but I have to say it is a bit pricey though. There was a lot of stones by the beach so I ended up staying more time at the pool rather than the sea water. If you're looking for snorkeling, in my experience the Yasawas island are better. But you can also do other activities - some are paid, some are not. I have to say the staff is very efficient in helping us and making us feel like home. Very friendly and warming people. Loved the Fijian people! Bula!!

All the reviews about the friendliness and helpfulness of staff are true - there is a very warm atmosphere here. Facilities are good / pool is nice (although got very murky at the beginning of our stay that was rectified) and it's nice to have free access to paddle boards and snorkels.

Food quality is the biggest gripe. For me the restaurants were of a quality where in the outside world I would go once and not complain too much but never return. The problem is that when staying here you have to return three times a day! Quality of beef was good but all other meat fairly bad (most chicken is brown meat, pork was fatty and inedible). Menu descriptions sound great but the reality presented usually falls short. The down side of the 'family feel' is that in our case, and in talking to other guests, we feel bad to complain because everyone is so nice! Getting off the resort to other food options is difficult and costly. Service is slow, sometimes painfully so, and especially at breakfast.

The beach is muddy and full of sharp stones so nobody uses it. If you are looking for a beach holiday this is not the place for you.

Accommodation is fairly basic and badly lit (we were in garden room). Apparently it is due for refurbishment in may 2017 which I think will improve the experience a lot if done well.

There are plenty of activities each day on the blackboard. Some are free and some are charged - be sure to clarify before you sign up. On our first day we went for a snorkelling trip we assumed was free that wasn't.

Happy hour is a real highlight - staff light torches and sing songs. Half price cocktails are a little deceptive - they are around $18FD during the day and up to $30FD during happy hour, then discounted to half price. I smell a rat here!

It's great that the island is adult only and the attitude of the staff really helps create a relaxing atmosphere. This place needs to get some essential details right for it to be somewhere that I would return, however.

We stayed here recently for our honeymoon and it was perfect. The people running Tropica are fantastic, especially the activities staff who were able to arrange a private beach picnic for my wife's birthday. Stunning location too with many beachfront bures. Definitely consider this resort for romantic getaways of 4+ nights

Absolutely lovely resort on the small island Malolo. Amazing service and singing performance performed by staff every night. Plenty of water sport activities possible: hobby cat for sailing, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, stand up paddle boards. Good food and tasty Fijian tapas. Clean swimming pool. Would come back here any time.

Such a peaceful vacation spot, very much geared towards couples. The staff is wonderful, Sam, Kara Suku, and Captain Ace made our stay exceed our expectations. The included water activities are so much fun, awesome snorkeling from the island, or from a kayak. I definitely recommend checking out Cloud 9.
The only critique I would have is; I think it would have been a bit more enjoyable had there been an engaging bartender. We visited a couple other resorts before we returned home, and that seemed to be the norm, so perhaps that's just me.
All in all, I would absolutely return.
