Laphto Mall used to be a great place to hang out, do shopping or have a swim but nowadays the standards have really gone down. Located near Bisrate Gabriel Church it is easily accessible from several part especially the residential areas like Mekanisa. It is not over crowded and the place is secure and clean. There are stores for clothes and shoes, internet cafe, furniture shop, shoa supermarket, a spa, gym, swimming pool area. There is also a cafe at the ground floor. The bowling area used to be the delight and highlight of this place but the maintenance needs improvement . Parking area is better than most malls in Addis which is spacious and secure.

This mall/complex really does not have any redeeming qualities. A broken down bowling alley, a cold pool, stores selling the exact same items if they are even open. The gym is inconvenient and often there is no receptionist to allow you to enter, and in fact when there is, it’s cash only. The outside seating area is nice but could use a spruce up. The last few times I have been there, there was construction occurring yet I wasn’t sure if they were building something new or repairing something. A four minute walk through and you’ve seen the entire place.

If you've seen the website, they try to make it look like a five star Mall and gym. It's fine, and nice for Addis, but the website is misleading.
