  From the moment I contacted Tariku, the company CEO, I knew my husband and I were in good hands. He helped us customize a trip for the two of us that included Addis, Axum, Lalibela and Harar. When we wanted to make a change at the last minute, he happily accommodated us. We were met at each airport by a driver and guide who was an expert in each area. All of our guides were experienced, friendly, fluent in English and helpful. They also shared their personal stories and made us feel like we were longtime friends. We were able to pay for the trip by credit card; we were well informed about what to expect before we arrived. We wanted to use an Ethiopian owned tour company, and Yama tours way exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend the company.

  We HIGHLY recommend Tarik and his crew for travel throughout Ethiopia! We’ve used Yama tours for our last 4 trips after we were burned by a different travel company and we’re so happy to have found them.
  They always go above and beyond to help us - providing excellent hotels, superb linguistic services, and VERY safe driving.

  I used Yama Ethiopia Tours on my several trip to visit my family back home since 2010.
  
  They are super excellent with all tour package service they provided. Highly responsive timely for all question I had before the trip, which was very important for me to get organized.
  
  I took few days trip and some short trip to north historic route with my family and the tour was excellently organized. Comfortable vehicle, very careful drivers , always on time and clean cars every morning. Knowledgeable tour guides, excellent choice of hotels.
  
  I am very pleased with all their service and I highly recommend Yama Tours for great trips in Ethiopia!!

  My wife and I recently got back from our trip to Ethiopia where we had a chance to travel to the Omo Valley and the Bale Mountains with Yama Tours. If you’re planning on booking a guided tour to Ethiopia I would highly recommend Yama Ethiopia Tours!
  
  During the planning stages Tariku the Managing Director was extremely helpful…anytime I would send him an email with a question he would always answer promptly. When we arrived in Addis Abba at 4AM our driver/guide Zinaye was at the airport waiting for us. We can’t say enough great things about Zinaye! Not only is he an excellent driver…he was extremely knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Ethiopian culture and history. Some of the highlights of our trip were visiting the Mursi and Hammer tribes in the Omo Valley and seeing some of the breathtaking views in the Bale Mountains.
  
  Hopefully we will be able to make another trip to Ethiopia…if so we will definitely be booking our trip through Yama Ethiopian Tours and hopefully Zinaye will be available to show us around.
