The bathroom is a disaster on every level, poor water pressure, the faucet of the sink is very loose. Everything in the bathroom seems to be falling apart. There is no elevator. There are peeled painting all over. The employees do their best with what they work with. They are very polite and courteous. The hotel is poorly managed.

Jantekel hotel is a very good and modern hotel to stay in the historical and old city Gondar. The hotel is located in the northern part of Ethiopia where the roof of Africa (Northern Mountains) is found. It is situated at the heart of Gondar near University of Gondar and Gondar Airport. Amazing to stay with view side of the surrounding mountain near the hotel. The hotel is also close to Fasiledes Ghebbi and Debrebirhan Selassie church and Fasiledes sweeming pool. And the hotel gets its name from one of the historical tree back from the 16th century which is used for meeting and court purpose.
