Sixt website says one can speed up getting a car by putting passport and drivers license data on the web. But the staff still needed to input the data in person again. The Opel Mokka has poor visibility and a frustrating navi. Return is easy with Sixt.

Very friendly agent at the rental desk - at 1:30am! She explained all the terms and conditions in plain language, helped us determine which additional services we might want and even upgraded our rental car one class at no extra cost! The car was new and clean. Return was a breeze - overall a very smooth experience.

Good and friendly service, clean car, easy reservation. Car availability isn't guaranteed even when reserving online.
The person at the desk in the airport (Rick) was very friendly correct
Received other car in higher price class without having to pay extra since no cars were available in the price class I reserved.
They did sell me an extra insurance option and return-empty fuel option. First one was a good idea seen the driving skills of the average Spanish person, the second was sold to me as a good deal but really wasn't.
Forgot my credit card in the car and called the hotline since I was already waiting for my flight by the time I noticed it. Was connected to a Spanish person who only had basic English skills and couldn't even help me or forward me to the local Sixt office in the Barcelona airport. Had to cancel my card and am waiting for a new one to arrive.response / report this review -

It was our first time renting a car abroad and we couldn't even imagine how easy and headache-free that could be. Sixt delivered beyond our expectations. It was simply superb.
The guy working in El Prat was super friendly and spoke english really well. I think it was Richard. Sorry if I didn't remember your name correctly, but if you're reading this, you deserve a raise!
There were no hidden fees or any other "small print on the bottom right of the page" that one would expect when renting a car. Richard explained everything to us and gave us all of the information that we needed. The overall experience was so great that now while traveling I'll always be looking for Sixt. Great service by the staff at the T1 Sixt outlet. This one is located right outside the arrivals and is 24 hours. You will need to come here to return your keys in case you are dropping off the cars outside the work timings of the outlet in the parking lot. They speak English perfectly and can answer any of your questions

Great first experience as I normally use a competitor. Sixt Staff were really helpful and spoke English fluently. Rental process was straight forward. Price was fair. There was an initial problem with the car so I was upgraded to another vehicle with no extra charge. Fantastic, Quick, and no hassle service.

Staff was very helpful to give indications for next petrol station. In addition it is quite simple to find it as after some hundreds meters there is an indication. (Navi helps of course :-))

Staff friendly although struggled to give directions to nearest petrol station after I'd forgotten to fill up. Inspection of returned car very thorough but didn't find anything so I can't complain. Worst part of this rental station was terribly designed car park which makes people picking up a new car take a tight 90° bend, by the looks of the side many people have immediately dinged their new cars.
