  I recently spent 3 nights at Sierra y Mar and would thoroughly recommend it to anybody who values great service, beautiful surroundings, quietness, privacy and top quality at an affordable price. The hotel is collection of beautiful little casitas( small stone houses consisting of a charming bedroom and en suite bathroom) all built into the hillside in a lush mature garden which is beautifully kept. . Everything is spotlessly clean, the breakfasts are excellent, each casita has its own private terrace with wonderful views, and nearby are a some excellent quality and unusual restaurants. It's very popular with walkers, but for me as place to recharge the batteries it was perfect. 5 star no less.

  We stayed at Sierra y Mar in October and we can't wait to go back. The setting is so peaceful, the rooms comfortable and private, and the breakfasts were fabulous. Sepp and Ingrid are delightful hosts and very helpful with suggestions of various hikes in the area. This is a place to spend at least a week.
