This is not a 5-star hotel. I would be curious to learn how they think they achieved a 5-star rating. Part of the staff is friendly but clueless, the other part is rude and clueless. We lost half a day of skiing thanks to the receptionists' ignorance who was not able to tell us the hours of the ticket booths - "already closed" which, as we later found out, was not true (plus there are ticket machines 24/7). The "spa" (which is not worth this name) is small, and even the steam room and jacuzzi cost extra. The dinner "buffet", which we were told at 3 PM would take place, was not there in the evening (only a la carte), and even the hotel's equipment rental shop, which we were told would open in the afternoon, was eventually not open. No apologies, no willingness of the staff to help or make suggestions (note: we did not play the "overdemanding & arrognt tourists").
The rooms are rustic and rather minimal, and the amenities are the equivalent of a 3-star hotel. Pretty disappointing. If they advertised honestly what they are and what they can offer, it would be a better experience.
