We had a very nice stay in Puerto Antilla. The hotel is very big an beautiful. The swimming pool is huge and there are so may different areas so that you don't have all the people concentrated in one part. You have space and you can really enjoy the surrounding. The garden is fantastic with very nice plants.
nevertheless there are some corners which are not taken care of: Near the babies swimming pool, there are lots of stairs and the parents cannot just relax but need to pay close attention to the kids and care that they don't injure themselves.
The animation staff is very very friendly. They do a lot of activities and they are great!!! the best animation team.
The staff in the restaurant is also very good and friendly. The food is very tasty. There are always a lot of people at breakfast , they might need a bigger restaurant, sometimes you struggle to find a seat.
One very bad point is the fact that many evenings around 9:30/10:00 they open the back access of the hotel to let people come in and have dinner to the Mirador.
Now, we understand that for the hotel this is business and those represent extra money but you don't feel comfortable knowing that anybody can access the garden and the hotel without any screening/control.

Very busy, lots of families with young children. Expensive, especially the parking. Quite impersonal as you would expect with a large resort style hotel. Didn't love the location, very busy.

Nice hotel.
Good clean rooms with fantastic pool.
Staff welcoming.
Only problem town in may is pretty closed I would recommend coming in June when restaurants will be open.
In may little choose to eat.

Clean, great staff, good food and excellent food selection, beautiful facility, great child care and child activities. I cannot give four stars, however, for the following reasons: no water provided in gym, gym and pool hours are restricted (gym should be open earlier and not close in the afternoon), no coffee at dinner, coffee for breakfast and lunch is from a machine and has the flavor/quality of instant, no door/curtain separating the toilet from the rest of the large bathroom. These things don't match the rest of the quality of the resort, but it cannot be a four star without paying attention details such as these.

This hotel has great accommodations, with spacious rooms, wonderful pools, good proximity to the beach and more. The staff speak English well, and are quite personable. The food was excellent, with a good variety of local and international dishes available. The conference facilities are also very nice, and can accommodate large groups.
