Just got back had a great relaxing holiday. Hotel is lovely,decor, grounds and rooms are good and it's a beautiful location to relax, minutes walk across the road from the beautiful beach. Restaurant staff are very good, food was lovely. We were all inclusive and found you are over looked by the barstaff e.g all inclusive you don't usually tip as much as paying guests so service just doesn't seem good. At snack bar food was served warm at best. Bar shut at 12 or 11.55 you are ask to leave regardless of whether your still drinking or using the pool table, entertainment was poor not a 4.5 certainly not the 7 nights we spent at the hotel especially for the size of the hotel. Pools are freezing cold,so good job sun is hot. Reception staff are mostly friendly and manager is very attentive. Local town was Aymonte 10 euro taxi or 1.30 euro on bus, timetable can be asked for, don't forget the siesta time!.

We went to this hotel to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and the hotel staff made our room lovely, gave us a bottle of champagne, treats,flowers,the rep deon was a star, she took photos of us,gianni and all the entertainment staff are very good, this is a relaxing hotel the staff are very friendly, we will be coming back very soon fantastic beach ,thank you barcelo isla canela hotel.

A lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Most of the staff speak some English. The rooms are clean and with lots of places for your clothes etc. Plastic chairs and table on the reasonable sized balcony. There is a large variety of food at breakfast and dinner in the evening. Even my fussy teenager with a nut allergy has found lots to eat. The serving staff are very helpful in finding out which dishes have nuts in. So far an amazing place to stay in a lovely quiet location minutes from the beach.

All employees were very kind. The hotel room was very clean. The only thing was, that there were not many surfaces to put your own stuff into the bathroom (for example cosmetics). The meals in the restaurant were good and with a large choice of different meals. I liked it especially, that there were every night, at least 3 different fish meals at the buffet and the barbecue outside. The pool was ok and clean. The beach is very close to the hotel, just a minute away.
