Impressive place with both Christian and Muslim history and architecture. A beautiful cathedral that feels a bit weird inside an ancient mosque. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the region. A truly unique experience and lesson in religious history.

An amazing piece of Islamic architecture disfigured by the ugliness of the gothic Christian additions. This mosque allow s the visitor to see how the two religions have a different perception on life. While the succession of Islamic colonnades were there to remind the faithful of the equality of humans in front of God, the Christian additions try to frighten and to generate a feeling of guilt among the faithful. The inquisition and the Catholic church have committed an unforgettable crime in this place and in this region .

Most impressive building and the history it represents. Definitely a must see. We didn't have a guide but I think this place deserve a tour with one.

One of the most beautiful places I have visited. With hundreds of years of age, it used to be a mosque and now turned to be a cathedral. I will definitely visit this place again in the future as our last visit was short.

Beautiful mosques cathedral showing historic items. Friendly helpful staff and nearby food shops. Good price for viewing inside building (10€) and tower (2€). When reaching tower, lots of Cordoba can be viewed including bridges and hills. Courtyard has trees with dates and narrow water troughs.

An extraordinary place. Some tips: there are a couple of automated ticket machines to the left of the main ticket booths, which are likely to have shorter waits. Also, the space is so big, you don't really have to worry about it getting crowded inside.

The hytorical and important building to Islamic peoples. Place to learn about Islamic history, as we know that this place is The Mosque before. But everything has changed now, please dont do pray, and respect to this place. But we must still proud of this place.

There is not much more to say than a simple wow. It is astonishing how centuries of religion, culture and architecture come together and form this epochal building. Visit it well informed, otherwise the 10€ won't be worth your while. Since there are a lot of Visitors throughout the year, I recommend to come early. Go to the visitor center first and fetch yourself a plan. The explanations in the mezquita (and on the leaflet you get) are scarce and don't meet the expectation of this cultural highlight. I suggest the Wikipedia article as an intro. Then you will be wow-ed when in there.

Better than Alhambra. Double arches support large structure. A cathedral within a mosque is so unique. A tour gives interesting information on history and construction details. Amazing place. It's a must-see.
