I am English and my wife is Spanish and we have met and dealt with many agents in San Sebastián as owners and renters of several properties over the past twenty years.
Owing to their licensing in Spain, we have found most agents to be honest and professional - so what makes Metrópoli Consultoría Inmobiliaria stand out?
Well, it is the quality of the services provided by Natalia Huerta, the director, and her business partner, architect Cristina Gómez.
Natalia has now managed two property renovations for us since 2010 and we have been continually impressed and never let down. She is savvy about interior design as well as the local property market.
With our most recent acquisition, for example, we first narrowed down our search on line but when we were ready to buy we asked Natalia to represent us. She arranged appointments with the other agents and came with us on the viewings. Her take on the pros and cons were very helpful and we decided on a flat that needed complete renovation. Natalia negotiated the price for us and steered us through the legal processes.
It was a major renovation requiring total refurbishment of the flat. We could see that Natalia and Cristina have good relationships with tried and tested local tradespeople and they ensured that things were done at the right time. They monitored progress and discussed changes with us. They also kept the neighbouring owners sweet during the dusty and noisy renovation.
In short, we consider ourselves lucky to have Natalia as our agent and confidently recommend her to anyone seeking to buy, renovate or let property.response / report this review
