Very dated hotel could do with a makeover, staff nice and helpful, food is edible but could do with improving the menu. The rooms are clean beds need updating and the rooms need to be updated. The location for access to the city is great. I would stay here again if nothing was avaliable in the city centre.

Very dated. No English. Disgusting food. Basic room with broken toilet, very dirty. No English TV. Wallpaper in hallway hanging off. Although location is fantastic the hotel is so bad it's not worth the staying at it, very rude and very dirty street. Will never be back definitely not a four star maybe a 2

Staff is not friendly nor helpful. We caught different employees talking badly about passengers behind their backs, in front of other guests.

When we asked them for directions to go to El Escorial, they didn't know and they didn't care to find answers. In fact, there was a bus drivers' strike that day and they didn't mention anything about it.

When we asked help to print a boarding pass in the reception, they told us they couldn't do it because someone sent them a virus instead of a PDF a couple of months ago. It sounded like an excuse not to help people.

The room smelled badly every time we entered, but after turning the AC on the smell went away.

The service is really nice, the rooms are comfortable, big and cleaned and it's in a very good location, near the metro station

Poor service. Poor cleanliness. TV and Internet barely worked. Menu said 24hr service. Called at 22.30 only to be told extremely rudely that the kitchen was closed. All 3 days I was there, their was a protest for unpaid staff. Suppose that explains a lot. All honesty avoid if possible..

I was with a group of people in this hotel. beginning did not look bad, then it began hell; I have not registered in the room and thus being empty a guy came in while I was changing! (of course with another key delivered by reseption, although two hours before I had already pointed out that the room was occupied) rooms were not clean and I found myself eating almost the same thing for 5 days (such as corn put on the table to rot) no one spoke English even though it was a hotel near the center of Madrid and with 4 stars, and so for every problem I did not know how to communicate (and there have been many problems).
