This is a very nice no frills Holiday Inn. Nice rooms , close to Aeroporto via #15 bus from stop next door. Nice free breakfast, dinner available and was 6 or 7 star. 12 noon checkout available if needed. Friendly staff.

Ok place to crash before an early flight. The staff was friendly and helpful and I'm surprised they beer on tap, but I guess that is a common thing in Spain. The rooms were like you would expect, neither good nor bad. The place on itself felt old a little bit dirty and I the elevator felt like it was going to come crashing down.

Quick easy check in. english speaking polite receptionist . Lovely clean room. Very comfy bed. Nice dinner and breakfast. Ideal stay for early flights or cruise.

We considered this hotel as a place to stay before an early flight out of Malaga. We have stayed at Holiday Inns before and appreciate their quality.
For us, this was that obvious place to stay being the closest hotel to the airport (despite it being a little on the expensive side).
But alas a little more digging revealed that there is no airport shuttle. Reviews from past guests reveal that they had to resort to walking or taking an overpriced taxi to or from the airport. Seriously?
What the hell are were the management from HI thinking? To us this seems an amazing stupid oversight for a hotel which advertises itself as being near the airport.
We decided to stay elsewhere that was further from the airport BUT offered a FREE transfer to the airport AND was a cheaper rate. WAKE UP HOLIDAY INN!response / report this review -

The staff was very caring and patient with our 'American' blunders. There was something wrong with the air conditioning during out stay but this was an isolated incident as far as I understand. Rooms are clean and inviting if a bit small (as an American might say). We enjoyed an early breakfast - basic but good - served for people leaving for early flights Finally, the lobby offers a small bar with draught beers, cider, and of course Spanish wine. There was a welcoming bustle of night life in the bar and dining area.
Almost forgot: Cab rides to the airport will hurt a bit depending on the minimum charge. It is too far to walk from the airport to the hotel with any significant luggage; you will want to get a cab but watch the minimum charge. It is only about (1.6 km, 1 mi) from airport to hotel. We got gouged on the way from the airport with 20 euro fee and learned our lesson.response / report this review -

Large modern, every room is the same. Meals by limited menu. Breakfast is ok. I use it because it is very close to the airport. Just one night each time, it's fine for that.

Convenient if you're wanting something close to the airport although it is NOT really walkable. We took a taxi and it was not that cheap. Would have been more efficient to actually get a hotel room in the city centre and catch the relatively cheap metro.

Convenient for airport. Clean and comfortable room. Not where you would spend a holiday but fine for airport. Breakfast was good. Downside is no airport shuttle bus. They could offer the option as a taxi is expensive for only a few hundred metres, or just add a few euros to the room rate. Parking is also available which is a plus

If you're looking for a reasonable priced hotel near the airport, this is a great option. My room didn't have an iron or an ice bucket, even though there was an ice machine down the hallway. Continental breakfast is nothing special. The wifi worked well. A gin and tonic at the bar costs 7€ and the vending machine is pricey. Walk next door to the gas station for snacks and drinks. Free parking is convenient and the staff was nice. Rooms are very basic, but clean.
