Never coming back again. Came here to enjoy warm weather. Heater working only in the morning and evening, and the room l kept waiting the heater to start warming up. Place needs renovation
Great food. How people say it's not is beyond me. Beautiful room too
Visited in 1st week in October 2017
Food is passable it had some good dishes but was always limited and hotel is clean and tidy.
We didn't have a safe in our room. It is very close to the beach. Staff are very helpful and spoke good English. We found it to be an older persons hotel at this time of the year.
Hotel is very clean nicely set out it's on the beach. The only thing that lets it down in my opinion is the food. It's nice simple food. But not much variation on the breakfast and the deserts. The main meal did change everyday though.
Tired but going through various refurbishments (from snippets of info) food is reasonably good and varied but not much for the little ones to eat Same goes for play other than the pool. Staff all seemed very nice and friendly but gave contradictory answers (to each other or printed guest info in the room) when asked about facilities and charges etc the house keeper on the 4th floor was very quick and thorough and friendly. Didn't use free WiFi in reception, instead paid €20 for WiFi access in our room for 7 days But could only log in one device at a time and it took ages to register when one device was disconnected before you could connect the next one surrounded by restaurants and cafes (our fave was the hula tiki bar - fab food and service) and the beach was literally just outside the back gate which is locked to non guests - use your room card key for access Also noticed security guards and life guards on the grounds which was reassuring.
When you are there it just feels like you are playing I the Benidorm tv show. Really average. And Wi-Fi is not free!
good hotel had to pay for wifi
Nice hotel. Very clean.
Good rooms, great food, decent pool, good location
We have just stayed at the hotel for 2 nights.
It was our first and and last visit at the Barracuda
- The rooms looks outdated - ex our door to the balcony was not working.
- The food was not in the same standard as you normally see in hotels and we found a bug in the fried eggs the first morning, so we considered to eat another place for our second morning.
- when we left the hotel for another in the same area I found out that I had left a pair of shoes on the balcony and sent the hotel an email on their website but never (6 days so far) got an answer. I even visited the hotel later the same week and was told that the cleaning staff only could be contacted in the morning and therefore I couldn't get any help.
I will never visit the hotel again and want to warn others to do the same.
The only positive thing is the distance to the beach.
