We arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in hour. We were told that the room will be available at 14:00. We returned at 14:00 and received a twin room even though we booked a double room. We asked for change and we had to wait for more than 1 hour, the staff from reception just ignored us, like we were invisible.
The hotel is near Retiro Park, which is a lovely park. Has a beautiful rooftop bar with a city view. The pool is too small for the capacity of the hotel and has only 6 sun beds. The opening hours of the pool are limited, if you want to go in the morning you can't, because it opens only at 12.
The breakfast was delicious and diversified, plenty of options for everybody including vegetarians.
We enjoyed the stay at the hotel, except the incident from the first day and the pool.

A beautiful hotel with a huge comfy bed. Very clean and looked after. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The roof top bar and infinity pool is fantastic. Great views over to the park and the city centre beyond. A great stay, would recommend.

We visited this hotel for a citytrip and to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel did not receive the emails about the romantic room I requested so instead we got an upgrade to a slightly larger room. Which we were pretty happy about because we saw one of the small rooms. These small rooms have about 40 cm between bed and the wall on all sides. The swimming pool is very small and not very deep. Actual swimming is not possible. Last but not least there were never any free beds near the pool because the total amount of beds is 6! 6 beds for all the guests of the hotel?! The prices here are more then double compared to the prices outside.

Nice people. Adequate rooms. Eat breakfast somewhere else, since it is overpriced.

It was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. In that repect, they got the most important things very right.

I had a room that seemed to have been done up recently. It was about 0°C outside, and even with the air con set to 17 and the window open it was too hot inside. Before I opened the window it was even hotter.

The bathroom was also looking almost brand new. The sink drain leaked and the shower door didn't shut. When trying to shut the shower door, the static bit of the cubicle came unstuck. The next day, the cleaners had managed to get the shower door stuck on the wrong side of the door stop, which didn't help it shutting and meant getting in to the shower was a bit less easy than usual. The final oddity in the bathroom's reportoire was the heated towel rail actually being in the the shower, so you couldn't have a warm towel when you got out of the shower.

They had a restaurant which was acceptable but there were much better options locally. Breakfasts were a bit odd. Things like croissants were all sugar coated, even the ones with ham and cheese. The selection of fruit was good and the juices were excellent. Cold fried edds seemed to be a thing, and if you wanted some bread to go with your cold egg that was all the way across the other side of the dining room.

They have a left luggage area.
They have a roof terrace with great views.

It's a 2 minute walk to the huge and really nice park.

Rooms slightly older appearing but neat . Pretty much what I expected. No complaints so far. It's not too far out of the way. You can Walk to all the key stuff in downtown Madrid. Our take the convenient metro nearby.
