UPDATE.
The Hotel decided to refund the money they had taken twice, but still insist this was somehow my fault!!
ORIGINAL
I attempted to book through a third party website, which produced an error. I rang the booking company who assured me that I would not be charged. The booking company even called the hotel and told me my card would not be charged.
To my horror the hotel the hotel charged me twice against the instructions of the booking company.
Despite several attempts and speaking to the manager, they have refused to return the funds, despite the fact that this was 2 weeks before the booking date.
I consider this to be card fraud and will be asking for the "libro de reclamaciones."response / report this review -

If you want secure parking in Alcoy, this is the place. Not too far from the old part of town, but off the end of the tourist map, so get the town map. Typical Marriott, so not full of Spanish charachter.
