Amazing also on Benidorm tv show
Very professional staff and the treatments really improved my state of being
It was an very educational experience. Completely recommend it! The staff is very welcoming and nice. The rooms are relax as was the whole experience. If you decide to go, sign up for the cooking classes, we learned so much there. we also went to the seminar about emotional intelligence and learned so much!
Great SPA trip
Second rate spa and medical facilities. I have no idea what other people are talking about- perhaps if they're used to staying in a 'Holiday Inn' it could be described as luxurious but compared to any other five star hotel it dramatically lags behind. I met lots of people on the retreat who agreed- in fact, the majority.
The spa and gym facilities were poor- the gym would be fine for a normal hotel but not somewhere that markets itself as a wellness clinic- it's so small it doesn't even have a rowing machine. Very misleading to be called a 'wellness clinic.' The PTs are hit and miss- some good, some awful. The spa area is dire- the hydrotherapy pools are in a chlorinated swimming pool and two of the jets were not working the entire week I was there.
On the plus side, the food and the restaurant staff were fantastic and the rooms a good size, but without baths.
The management don't take seriously any complaints e.g. about noise or cleaning. The chamber maids are not good- they twice in a week forgot to clean my room- hence speaking to management. None of them spoke a word of English.
There are no grounds- nowhere to go for a walk so you are stuck in the centre the entire visit. It's built smack bang in the middle of a poor residential area of Valencia. There is no tennis court despite being told there was one- it's a shrunken sized 'paddle tennis' court.
The medical facilities verged on the negligent- blood tests were so basic they didn't even check for vitamin d which you would get on the most basic of free NHS tests! One guest's diabetes was not picked up in the blood tests. I also suspect they're all on commission as they're constantly trying to sell you treatments you don't need. Would definitely avoid Sha and go to a proper media-spa in France, Germany, Austria or Switzerland where you'd be in safer hands.
Health haven in a vogue environment. Prepare to get touched by Angels, a true treat for all the senses.
A place you'll come back to because that's what your body will demand.
