The staff was very friendly, except that the receptionist insisted on always having to pay in advance at least one night. The location is great 10 minutes walk from downtown. New mattresses, LCD TV, mini fridge. The sea view was nice.

The hotels needs real renovation, the locker was damp and musty, the water was a pain and frequently there was nothing coming out of the taps for quite a while. The bed sheets were smaller than the bed and are never tucked. The noise from the street was annoying and because the balcony never closed tight, it was a challenge to sleep. The breakfast was really bad and cheap.You get one egg (usually aged), three tiny slices of cucumber and tomato, two local cheap cheese triangles, and 5 grams of fig jam. You get either coffee or tea. The whole breakfast is worth like 5 EGP. The room had no towels, toiletries, hair dryer, coffee/tea maker. The room phone wasn't working, I had to go to the reception to request anything.

Rooms is very small and the toilet is very small too

- Fair price slightly on the costy side.
- Very vintage/Nostalgic.
- Excellent Location. 2 min walking to bibliotheca Alexandria.
- Rooms are not fancy, but clean with decent furniture and amazing sea view.
- Rooms overlooking the sea will suffer from a bit of noise due to traffic (shouldn't be a problem if you are a heavy sleeper).
- Decent Wifi
- Friendly staff and Atmosphere
- Don't recommend having any of their meals.

for the money they ask is to dam expensive the bathroom look like is form museum better look other place , the location was amazing ( but the Egyptians made the steet direct from the sea so very but really very noisy!

Fascinating Mediterranean sea view but very poor level of quality. I felt unsafe when someone of the employees opened the door of my room without knocking the door. When I blamed hem, he shouted and threatened me "next time locked the door". I recommend not to deal with this horrible hotel.
