A nice clean hotel, friendly staff who refused to change my room when i asked them to never book room 307 guys; it has the worst view ever of an old building less than 15 meters distance to your terrace, with broken shutters certainly bats live inside.
I tried to payload pictures to the hotel album but I left 6am was still a bit dark.response / report this review -

The building is stunning and in a great location in Alexandria. However the service could do better regarding cleanliness and time management. Some updating to the room facilities is needed too.

The hotel itself is an old vintage building which is maybe the only thing that compensates for their lack of professionali and bda customwr service also it's newr downtown. The issue was that we booked with another hotel in the same chsin but got moved to this one 4 maintenance and when we got there no apologies 4 the very short notice no decent compensation and the manager was rude as well and mismanaged the whole thing.

It's okay, not a 4 stars hotel as classified.
Not so clean, super slow old school elevator (which gives a charm, but just for a few seconds) big rooms, comfy bed, but smells bad even after sheets were changed.
Breakfast is the worst I've ever seen! Super poor, very low quality, not much optionsresponse / report this review -

A magnificent hotel. It's a grand old building that's been beautifully maintained with friendly staff, great lobby, comfortable rooms and a fantastic breakfast. Right by the sea it's a great choice for Alexandria

We stayed here for 2 nights good location, friendly staff, nice breakfast.. The old style gives it a nice atmosphere. We requested a room for 3 and like many hotels we got an extra, old, low bed for the third person. I wish hotels would change something about this!

Did really like it ..break fast not nice at all ..taking a room next to the elevator is too noisy..they are very materialistic and if you reserve in advance you still don't get the room you asked for

All I can say is that the decoration and the mood definitely takes you way back, and if you think you would enjoy something like this, then maybe you can spend one night there.
Cons:
-The room is not the cleanest. Below average.
-Some cracks in the paint on the wall, but its a fair price to pay for being in anplace this old.
-Reception staff were not very helpful, and the checkin process took a long time.
-No parking is a huge bummer, I couldn't find a parking spot nearby and had to park way too far from the hotel.
Pros:
-Location. Right in the heart of Alexandria. Close to the corniche/waterfront.
-The mood is definitely special.
-Breakfast wasn't impressive or special, but wasn't bad either.response / report this review -

Nice place but terrible service. The room's window was not closing and I had to ask for help to be able to do it. It took them 45 minutes to send me someone to close the window and it was freezing cold. I like the location thou.
