The hotel is pretty good I won’t lie, unfortunately we had a very bad experience , we’ve been traveling in Egypt and ordered the hotel via booking, one night for 40 dollars.
When we arrived the hotel the representative told us that because we are from Israel and we ordered it in Egypt we need to pay like Israelis - Because we are not local they made us pay twice ! 90 dollars ! I’m really disappointed they treated us this way.
What is the difference between ordering while being in Egypt or in Israel.response / report this review -

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Nelson resort. The beach is clean, comfortable rooms, nice stuff. The place is beautiful and nice atmosphere.

The hotel is very clean and welcome. Yet, the food is a disaster ! Dont even think of eating at the nelson restaurant outside. Pizza smells and looks great but the taste is like plastic. Moreover fish and chip served very nice but i paid and did not touch the fish which was not eatable for humans. I have attached photos
Do not book and pay for dinner in this hotel ! U better bring bread from home with some butter and save your money. Pay double and eat outside if possible. The worst food i had in hotels in the world !!!! Cold and not tasty. 25 years ago it was a great hotel too bad. All 5 guests did not touch the food ! Very beautiful view. I suggest you book a room in a high floor level. By just sitting in a Cafe having your coffee, you can see infront of you Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Amazing place. Very good restaurants. Rooms are a little outdated, but as I was told, will be renovated soon. Very nice and professional staff, who really do their very best for you, even without tips!

The family enjoyed themselves very much. The hotel was almost empty (unlike our previous visits). There were some renovations taking place at the hotel, so the pool inner bar was closed and under construction, and new pipes were been installed on the Nelson village side. It was a minor inconvenience but tolerable.
The beach was great, although the water was cold. The kids enjoyed the water sports (extra pay). Me and my wife enjoyed the spa (the message and Turkish bath - the Turkish bath is less recommended​, it is a sponge bath only).
We took the half board deal, and we're very lucky, as the all inclusive is not worth the money (not much extra stuff, food and drinks are very limited).
If you have little kids, the mini Disco is recommended, and you can always cross over to the Movenpick hotel for extra activities.response / report this review -
