They claim they are valanteers, however when i called them for an emergency case they requested 200 EGP, moreover they clarified that the veterinarian will call me in 2 hours to schedule a visit, yet the secretary called me two days later to schedule a visit. Not recommended in case of emergency.

I went to Happy Pets with two orphaned kittens that I had found near my apartment building. The Doctor that we saw barely examined the kittens. She looked at them for a few seconds asked if they where eating and said they are fine and we can put them back outside in a week. These kittens are not even a week old and in no way look after themselves in a week! She didn't weigh them nor check for flees (which they have in abundance) She did nothing but a very short once over that I could have done at home. The smaller of the two kittens had swelling around his umbilical cord which I thought was due to it not being separated probably by its mother.When the Vet looked the the kitten she said nothing about it so I assumed it was, as I thought some minor swelling. I found out today that the kitten had a VERY horrible infection at the umbilical cord sight and before I could get it back to a vet for antibiotics it died. If a trained professional examined the kittens properly this would have been easily detected and treated maybe in time to save his life. If you actually want proper care for your animals PLEASE do not go to happy Pets.
