  The proprietor was a friendly gentleman who provided us with a demonstration of the traditional techniques and process of working with Alabaster. We had a good laugh as they gave us each a go at using the tools. The shop has beautiful carvings of animals, jugs etc. We bought some pieces to take back. I regret not taking the posting option now however as one of the pieces broke in transit on the flight :(
