  Soft opening with a temporary exhibition of traditional crafts - pottery, manual textile, woodworking + simple jewelry - very promising museum especially with support from Unesco. Formal opening of 4 halls due end 2018.

  The Meuseum is Not Open. Only one hall that is less than impressive is open. All the description you see online is still a plan. The administrators will not inform you about this before you pay the ticket. Take care.

  Huge place with huge parking with cheap price .
  For now its only one hall opened .
  They have nine , when they finished it will be amazing .

  When I visited only one of the many planned galleries was open. The place looks very promising, with a broad range of artifacts, aiming to cover the entirety of Egyptian civilization.

  The curator of the museum Mahrous Elsanadidy is wonderful, an Egyptologist with knowledge surpassing an encyclopedia, he kindly walked me through the special exhibit on crafts and told me about the history of each piece. An incredibly kind gesture and welcome. Highly recommend the museum and temporary exhibit, and to keep an eye out for the grand opening.

  The museum is very wonderful and it is a place to teach the Egyptian crafts and the area is very large ; It has a restaurant and a gift house and contains a very important piece and displayed very well , But it is still under construction and development

  Newly opened museum that diplays historic handcrafts from ancient Egyptian, Coptic and Islamic eras. It focuses on wood, ceramic, textile and jewelry treasures.
  
  Currently, the museum has only 1 opened hall (the smallest). 6 others should open in a year

  المتحف جميل و منظم. و مازال تحت الإنشاء 2017 مارس. يوجد قاعة واحدة مفتوحة. تضم الحرف المصرية القديمة مثل الخزف و المنسوجات و صناعة الاثاث. بعض المعروضات أكثر من رائعة و بالأخص العربة الحربية المصنوعة بالخشب و عليها النقوش الفرعونية القديمة.و ملبس بدو سيناء.
  The museum is still under construction. Only one hall is open. Which show the old Egyptian handcraft skills such as the glass, wood,fabrics and some Islamic art pieces with Sinai's bedouin outfit. Don't recommend visiting it now special if your time in Cairo is limited, as there too little to see specially If you ve visited the Egyptian museum.i recommend visiting the Islamic art instead.
  If you do visit. Look for the outstanding wooden chariot in the display with amazing craving which scenes from pharos battle.

  An amazing new museum which opened in the most culture rich area of Egypt!
  The structure is amazing, however not complete yet.
  A really promising place of you want to get introduced to a sector of the great Egyptian culture and history.

  A good insight into the life of ancient Egyptian. Not quite satisfied to visit yet. Will be better once completed.
