Nice museum for kids to learn all about the living organizms
The museum in itself is quite old and the buildings are architectural gems. But the display is poor.
The creepiest place I've ever been to. Place full of stuffed animals, strange exhibitions of animal foetuses and egyptian milk production. The part with exhibition of ancient agriculture is really great. It is strange but totally eorth it- You can find here pure egyptian spirit!
The second oldest agriculture museum in the whole world,I want to visit it.♥♥♥♥♥
A quirky museum with a lot of interesting exhibits, but very little signage in English. Has the delapidated air of so many museums in Egypt
The AM is the closest you can get to a 'natural history' museum in Egypt Like many attractions in Egypt, the building and surroundings are good to be a museum by themselves.
The AM is a great place to learn about Egyptian civilization and culture; old and new.. However years of low budget maintenance left it in poor condition. So don't expect another Smithsonian!
I recommend spending a maximum of 2 hours there. Split your time between this and the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in central Cairo instead.
