This is a lovely palace, built for Katherine by Peter the Great. Later used by the President of Estonia. They hold classical music concerts here - we attended two. Lovely atmosphere and ambience. We also doesn't time enjoying the art collection and a special show of Ariavovsky's paintings. Lovely. Highly recommended. The surrounding gardens are very enjoyable. We visited in February with snow still on the ground. The cafe at the entrance to the park in the old guard house has very good coffee and cake.

A very lovely palace with a nice art exhibition inside. It was a lot of fun to walk through all the rooms which themselves were decorated some beautifully. The grand hall is amazing. There are two large fireplaces with an amazing mural on the ceiling. The height of the ceiling in the grand hall is also well over 3.5 meters tall giving the space a large open feel.

Nice museum in the Kadriorg palace. Worth visiting as much for the exposition as for the building itself! They are also hosting small classic music concerts sometimes.

Once you finished seeing the Old Town, it's wise to spend half a day discovering the Kadriorg Palace and the Park around it. This grand, baroque palace built for Peter the Great in 1718 now houses the Art Museum of Estonia’s foreign collection. Designed by Italian architect Niccolo Michetti, the palace and surrounding manicured gardens are a humbling example of Tsarist extravagance.
Surrounding the Palace are several interesting palace side buildings and the Presidential Palace used as an office by Estonia’s head of state.

Who from tourists goes to Tallinn, simply must visit the park in the summer of Peter the Great Kadriorg, which was created for Queen Catherine, there are many museums including this museum, in which there are many beautiful paintings. The ticket is not expensive.

A short walk from the Hilton Tallinn Park, is the Kadriorg Palace, which nowadays is an art museum with a great selection of classic paintings and furniture. Currently there is a exhibition on von Richteri "A journey to the Orient" with a focus Egypt. The museum is well worth a visit and there is a nice coffee shop on the ground floor as well.

In Lower Tallinn in Estonia, a beautiful palace and gardens with extensive grounds and walks. This was, for me, the most beautiful and enjoyable part of our trip to Tallinn. The photos say it all.

Setting is in a lovely park. The Palace is interesting with sufficient furniture and others amenities to give a feel luxury. The garden behind is very well maintained. Definitely worthy of a visit.

A beautiful palace situated outside the old town and commercial area of Tallinn. The park it resides on is picturesque, check out the statue of Neptune behind the palace! Inside the palace is an art gallery with the paintings separated in different rooms based on the origin of the pieces. I recommend getting the dual ticket to the art gallery next door, with more unique Estonian based pieces. The cafe food is limited and overpriced, but the coffee is good. Recommend checking the place out just for the contrast of architecture on the walk there, Old Town, Commercial, Residential and finally, a palace!
