  Hotel San Francisco was a great place to stay in Quito! The artwork was vibrant and historical, the food was very tasty, and the rooms provided a nice sleeping area and hot water!

  One night stay in low end room. Functional and comfy enough. Might be nicer to stay in more expensive room. Good location 5 min walk from main square and other attractions.

  We traveled here on a charter bus, so I can't comment on the transit possibility of this hotel, but once you're in, you find yourself in a cute little hotel tucked away in a busy area. There is a grocery store right next door. There is complimentary WiFi that is not very reliable. Rooms are what you'd expect in Quito with just soap, shampoo and towel supplied. Absolutely beautiful terrace though.

  The Lobby is fantastic, breakfast in former prisoner area tunnel has good coffee, fruit, scrambled eggs and bread. Rooms are plain, bed very hard. The room had too much light at night. Location is great.

  A breathtaking view of Quito and a retractable lobby/courtyard roof make this a great destination for travellers to downtown Quito.

  Located very close to colonial part of Quito . Plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Very safe hotel. Days Inn comparable

  Historic and beautiful, but the rooms and bathrooms and beds are slightly uncomfortable, and smoke and noise drift into the rooms. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good enough, scrambled eggs, toast and fruit.

  This is a lovely place to stay in downtown Quito. Pleasant staff, lovely building and a quiet atmosphere - apart from traffic. Get a room as far above the street as possible.

  Beautiful hotel, and love to beautiful plants all around the hotel space and very friendly staff, also love the many floors of hotel rooms with outdoor seating.

  It was a good hotel, very cute and comfortable and the staff was friendly, but the walls in the rooms do not go completely up the ceiling (there's a 15 inch space between the wall and the ceiling) so it gets noisy because the rooms are not completely closed out from the other rooms.

  Spanish colonial style hotel well located in old part of city, fib minutes walk to the main park. Our room was spacious on the forth floor with good views of the city. Breakfast was included but was repetitive for our three day stay.

  Stayed here many times. The staff is very nice. It is definitely not your five star Sheraton, but it still has a homely atmosphere. The rooms are plain and simple but cozy.

  I must say that this hotel was great What made it great for me was Havier who went out of his way to help this gringo find the rental car I "miss placed." Havier thankyou. The hotel and staff are great. I would recommend the place to anyone. Although I had car issues while there, Havier and the staff were great. The hotel was top notch, perfectly located and the view from the top floor is spectacular.
